Abstract
【解決手段】灯室2内に、LED実装基板4、リフレクタ30及びエクステンション40を収容して、LED3、リフレクタ30、エクステンション40及びアウターレンズ20によって光学系を構成し、LED実装基板4の下方に、前方斜め下方に延びるリフレクタ30を配置し、LED実装基板4及びリフレクタ30の前方にエクステンション40を配置した。エクステンション40は裏面側を鏡面反射面とし、リフレクタ30の直前方に位置する窓孔部41、窓孔41の上端部から上方斜め前方に延びる湾曲部42、窓孔部41及び湾曲部42の夫々の外縁部から後方に延びる環状のフランジ部43を有する。

Claims (4)
- 開口を有するハウジングと前記ハウジングの開口を塞ぐように装着されたアウターレンズとによって形成された灯室内に、LED、LED実装基板、リフレクタ及びエクステンションが収容されて、前記LED、前記リフレクタ、前記エクステンション及び前記アウターレンズによって光学系が構成されてなる車両用灯具であって、
前記LED実装基板は、前記灯室内の上半部に配設された基板ホルダに取り付けられ、
前記LED実装基板の下方の前記灯室内の下半部に前記リフレクタが配置され、
前記基板ホルダ及び前記リフレクタの前方に前記エクステンションが配置され、
前記エクステンションの前方に前記アウターレンズが位置しており、
前記エクステンションは、前記リフレクタの前方に位置する窓孔部と、前記窓孔部の上端部から上方に延びる上延部と、前記窓孔部及び前記上延部の夫々の外縁部から後方に延びる環状のフランジ部と、を有し、
前記リフレクタは、前記LEDからの光を反射して、前記窓孔部及び前記アウターレンズを通して外部に向けて照射させ、
前記フランジ部は、前記LEDからの光を前記アウターレンズへと反射させ、
前記アウターレンズは、前記フランジ部からの光の一部を、前記上延部へと全反射させ、
前記上延部は、前記アウターレンズからの光を外部に向けて反射させることを特徴とする車両用灯具。 - 前記エクステンションは裏面側に鏡面反射面が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用灯具。
- 前記ハウシング及び前記基板ホルダはいずれも、樹脂材料又は金属材料のいずれかで形成されていること特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2のいずれかに記載の車両用灯具。
- 前記LEDは複数個からなり、横方向に直線状に実装されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3のいずれかに記載の車両用灯具。
