Abstract
Description
前記端子接続部は、前記被覆電線の直線方向において前記芯線の端末よりも前記絶縁被覆側に配されている構成としてもよい。
このような構成によると、被覆固定部によって固定された位置から芯線の端末までの距離をできるだけ長くすることができるため、芯線の柔軟性が高くなる。
このような構成によると、例えばインサート成形によって被覆固定部を設ける場合、樹脂が冷え固まる際に収縮し、被覆固定部が絶縁被覆に密着し、電線の保持力を高めることができる。
実施形態を図1から図13の図面を参照しながら説明する。本実施形態におけるコネクタ10は、図1に示すように、端子30と被覆電線Wが保持されたコネクタ本体20と、コネクタ本体20に前方から装着される端子収容部40と、端子収容部40に前方から装着されるフロントカバー50と、コネクタ本体20に後方から装着されるリアカバー60とを備えて構成されている。被覆電線Wは、芯線W1が絶縁被覆W2で覆われた構成である。本実施形態では、図6に示すように、被覆電線Wの端末における絶縁被覆W2が皮剥ぎされることで芯線W1が露出している。
このような構成によると、被覆固定部によって固定された位置から芯線の端末までの距離をできるだけ長くすることができるため、芯線の柔軟性が高くなる。
このような構成によると、例えばインサート成形によって被覆固定部22を設ける場合、樹脂が冷え固まる際に収縮し、被覆固定部22が絶縁被覆W2に密着し、被覆電線Wの保持力を高めることができる。
本明細書によって開示される技術は上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施形態に限定されるものではなく、例えば次のような種々の態様も含まれる。
(1)上記実施形態では芯線接続部32が端子接続部31の後方に設けられているものの、芯線接続部は、端子接続部31の側方に設けられているものとしてもよい。

Claims (3)
- 芯線が絶縁被覆に覆われ、直線で配置された被覆電線と、
前記絶縁被覆の一部を皮剥ぎすることで露出させた前記芯線を内部に収容する芯線収容部と、
前記芯線収容部の内部に露出した前記芯線に接続された芯線接続部を有し、前記芯線接続部から前記被覆電線の直線方向と交差する方向に突出する形態で端子接続部が設けられた端子と、
前記端子を内部に収容し、前記芯線収容部に連なる端子収容部と、
前記絶縁被覆を固定し、前記芯線収容部に連なる被覆固定部とを備え、
前記芯線は、前記芯線収容部内において前記交差する方向に移動可能とされ、
前記端子は、前記芯線の移動に伴って前記端子収容部内において前記交差する方向に移動可能とされているコネクタ。 - 前記端子接続部は、前記被覆電線の直線方向において前記芯線の端末よりも前記絶縁被覆側に配されている請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記被覆固定部は、露出させた前記芯線に連なる前記絶縁被覆を埋設した状態で前記被覆電線を固定している請求項1または請求項2に記載のコネクタ。
