Abstract
Description
本願は、2013年2月25日出願の米国特許仮出願第61/769,133号、2013年2月25日出願の同第61/769,129号、2013年2月25日出願の同第61/769,131号、および、2013年2月25日出願の同第61/769,135号の利益を主張し、これらの全ては、参照により本明細書に組み入れられる。
PCBは、あるいは、電気部品がシャーシの内側に配置されるPCBに装着された状態でシャーシ304上へ積み重ね得る。頂部アンテナハウジング308が、シャーシに装着される。アンテナハウジング308は、任意の適切な手段によって製造され得、所望のアンテナ外形形状を形成するために、例えば、めっき処理可能な樹脂で成形され得る。底部アンテナハウジング310が、また、例示的なデバイスではシャーシに装着される。底部アンテナハウジングも、有利なことに、所望のアンテナ外形形状を形成するために、めっき処理可能な樹脂で成型され得る。頂部および底部アンテナハウジング308、310)は、ねじ309、クリップ(図示せず)など、PCBアセンブリ306を適切な締結具を使用してシャーシ304に締着する。図に示す例では、ねじ309は、シャーシ304、または、プリント回路基板アセンブリ306に螺入され得る。
液体光学透明樹脂(OCR)1403は、ディスプレイを前部レンズに結合するためにレンズ500とディスプレイアセンブリ1200との間に分注される。OCR1403は、視聴領域から流れ出て、ディスプレイとレンズアセンブリの外周壁部902との間の側壁902まで流れる。このOCR1403は、軟質「クッション」を形成する。この接着性クッション1403は、したがって、積層過程からオーバーフローを用いて形成される。この液状接着剤1403は、ディスプレイモジュール1200をレンズ500に不変に積層する。図に示す例のディスプレイは、一体型タッチスクリーンセンサを含む。

Claims (11)
- デバイスのハウジングを作製する方法であって、
前面および背面を有する透明レンズと、前記レンズの外周の少なくとも一部に沿った段付きフランジとを提供することと、
プラスチックを、前記段付きフランジを含む前記透明レンズ外周上へ注入することと
を含み、
前記プラスチックが、前記透明レンズの前記前面に接する前面と、前記透明レンズの前記背面に接し、デバイスの幅中心線から離れて前記透明材料の側部から外側に延在する背面とを有するプラスチック特徴部を形成し、
前記プラスチック特徴部が、前記デバイスのハウジングの2つの端部の少なくとも1つにおいて前記透明レンズの前記背面に成型され、
前記プラスチックが、前記透明レンズフランジの段付き中央面を封入する、
方法。 - 前記透明レンズの前記前面に疎油性コーティングを適用することを更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記プラスチックを注入する前に、前記透明レンズの前記フランジ縁部に接着剤を適用することを更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記接着剤が、前記透明レンズの前記前面に付着するのを防止する疎油性コーティングを前記透明レンズの前記前面に適用することを更に含む、請求項に3記載の方法。
- 前記透明レンズ背面上の装飾的なインクが、前記ディスプレイの少なくとも1つの縁部の視聴領域を画定する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 光学透明光硬化樹脂を前記透明レンズ背面上で適用することと、
ディスプレイモジュールを前記樹脂上に配置することと、
前部光源および後部光源のみを用いて前記樹脂の全てを光学的に硬化させることと
を更に含む、請求項5に記載の方法。 - 透明レンズ材料前面転移線へのハウジングプラスチックが、前記ディスプレイの少なくとも1つの縁部の視聴領域を画定する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記前面境界が、前記プラスチックおよび透明レンズの背面境界よりデバイスの幅中心線に近い、請求項7に記載の方法。
- デバイスのハウジングであって、
透明レンズであって、
前面と、
背面と、
前記レンズの外周の少なくとも一部に沿った段付きフランジと
を含む透明レンズを備え、
前記デバイスのハウジングが、
プラスチックを、前記段付きフランジを含む前記透明レンズの外周の上へ注入すること含むプロセスによって作製され、
前記プラスチックは、前記透明レンズの前記前面に接する前面と、前記透明レンズの前記背面に接し、デバイスの幅中心線から離れて前記透明材料の側部から外側に延在する背面とを有するプラスチック特徴部を形成し、
前記プラスチック特徴部は、前記デバイスのハウジングの2つの端部の少なくとも1つにおいて前記透明レンズの前記背面に成型され、
前記プラスチックは、前記透明レンズフランジの段付き中央面を封入する、
デバイスのハウジング。 - 前記ハウジングを作製する前記プロセスが、
前記透明レンズ背面上の遷移線の両側に光学透明光硬化樹脂を適用することと、
ディスプレイモジュールを前記樹脂上に配置することと、
前部光源および後部光源のみを用いて前記樹脂の全てを光学的に硬化させることと
を更に含む、請求項9に記載のデバイスのハウジング。 - デバイスのハウジングを作製する方法であって、
前面および背面を有する透明レンズと、前記レンズの外周の少なくとも一部に沿った段付きフランジとを形成することと、
前記透明レンズの前記前面に疎油性コーティングを適用すること、
前記透明レンズの前記フランジ縁部に接着剤を適用することと、
プラスチックを、前記段付きフランジを含む前記透明レンズ外周の上へ注入することであって、前記プラスチックは、前記透明レンズの前記前面に接する前面と、前記透明レンズの前記背面に接し、デバイスの幅中心線から離れて前記透明材料の側部から外側に延在する背面とを有するプラスチック特徴部を形成する、注入することと、
ハウジングプラスチック透明レンズ材料背面遷移線を前記ディスプレイの少なくとも1つの縁部の視聴領域として画定することと、
前記透明レンズ背面上の遷移線の両側に光学透明光硬化樹脂を適用することと、
ディスプレイモジュールを前記樹脂上に配置することと、
前部光源および後部光源のみを用いて前記樹脂の全てを光学的に硬化させることと
を含み、
前記プラスチック特徴部は、前記デバイスのハウジングの2つの端部の少なくとも1つにおいて前記透明レンズの前記背面に成型され、
前記プラスチックは、前記透明レンズフランジの段付き中央面を封入し、
前記前面境界が、前記プラスチックおよび透明レンズの背面境界よりデバイスの幅中心線に近い、
