Abstract
【解決手段】補強金具は、嵌合ガイド部に固定される本体部と、本体部の左右両端に基端が接続され、コネクタ本体の長手方向に延在し、嵌合ガイド部の側壁部の外側に配設される左右一対の接続腕部と、接続腕部の先端における上端に基端が接続され、相手方コネクタ本体に装填された相手方補強金具と接触する左右一対の接触腕部とを含み、接続腕部の基端における下端には、基板上の接続パッドに接続される第1接続脚部であって、コネクタの側方から観た形状が略L字状の第1接続脚部の上端が接続されている。

Claims (8)
- (a)コネクタ本体と、該コネクタ本体に装填される端子と、前記コネクタ本体に装填される補強金具とを備えるコネクタであって、
(b)前記コネクタ本体は、長手方向両端に形成された嵌合ガイド部であって、相手方コネクタの相手方コネクタ本体の長手方向両端に形成された相手方嵌合ガイド部と嵌合する嵌合ガイド部を含み、
(c)前記補強金具は、前記嵌合ガイド部に固定される本体部と、該本体部の左右両端に基端が接続され、前記コネクタ本体の長手方向に延在し、前記嵌合ガイド部の側壁部の外側に配設される左右一対の接続腕部と、該接続腕部の先端における上端に基端が接続され、前記相手方コネクタ本体に装填された相手方補強金具と接触する左右一対の接触腕部とを含み、
(d)前記接続腕部の基端における下端には、基板上の接続パッドに接続される第1接続脚部であって、前記コネクタの側方から観た形状が略L字状の第1接続脚部の上端が接続されていることを特徴とするコネクタ。 - 前記第1接続脚部は、上下方向に向けて延在する垂直部と、該垂直部からコネクタ本体の長手方向外方に向いて延出する水平部とを含み、該水平部の下端が前記接続パッドに接続される請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記本体部の下端には、基板上の接続パッドに接続される第2接続脚部であって、前記コネクタの側方から観た形状が略L字状の第2接続脚部の上端が接続されている請求項1又は2に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記接続腕部は、前記第1接続脚部の前端よりも前方の部分の幅が、前記本体部に接続された基端の幅よりも大きい請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記接触腕部の幅は、前記接続腕部における前記本体部に接続された基端の幅よりも大きい請求項4に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記接触腕部は接触上腕部と接触前腕部とを含み、
前記接触上腕部は、基端が前記接続腕部の先端における上端に接続され、先端が下方を向いて前記嵌合ガイド部の側壁部を跨ぐ上側覆部と、該上側覆部の先端に接続され、前記嵌合ガイド部の側壁部の内側に配設される内側覆部とを含み、
前記接触前腕部は、前記内側覆部に接続され、前記嵌合ガイド部の側壁部の内側に配設され、前記嵌合ガイド部の嵌合凹部に挿入された前記相手方嵌合ガイド部に取付けられた相手方補強金具と接触する請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタ。 - 前記本体部及び接続腕部の側面には、はんだ上がり又はフラックス上がりを防止するバリア部が形成されている請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記本体部及び接続腕部の側面には、ニッケルの下地めっきの上に金めっきが施され、前記バリア部は、前記金めっきにレーザビームが照射されたことによって、ニッケルが表面に露出した部分である請求項7に記載のコネクタ。
