Claims (8)
- (a)コネクタ本体と、該コネクタ本体に装填される端子と、前記コネクタ本体に装填される補強金具とを備えるコネクタであって、
(b)前記コネクタ本体は、相手方コネクタの相手方コネクタ本体と嵌合する凹部と、該凹部内の中島であって、前記相手方コネクタ本体の凹溝部と嵌合する中島と、長手方向両端に形成された嵌合ガイド部であって、前記相手方コネクタ本体の長手方向両端に形成された相手方嵌合ガイド部が挿入される嵌合凹部が形成された嵌合ガイド部とを含み、
(c)前記補強金具は、前記嵌合ガイド部の端壁部に配設された本体部と、該本体部に接続され、先端が前記中島の島端部に係合する中央ガイド部であって、前記嵌合凹部の内側に沿ってコネクタ本体の長手方向に延在する中央ガイド部とを含み、
(d)該中央ガイド部は、前記本体部に接続された端壁内側カバー部と、前記先端に接続され、前記島端部の少なくとも一部を覆う島端カバー部と、前記端壁内側カバー部の下端に第1曲部を介して接続され、前記島端カバー部の下端に第2曲部を介して接続された底部とを含み、前記第1曲部の下面は第2曲部の下面より上方に位置し、該第2曲部の下面は基板に当接し得ることを特徴とするコネクタ。 - 前記嵌合凹部の底面を画定する底板には、該底板を板厚方向に貫通する底開口が形成され、前記底部は前記底開口内に収容され、前記第2曲部は前記コネクタ本体の下面に露出する請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記底部は、前記中央ガイド部における他の部分よりも幅広である請求項1又は2に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記端壁内側カバー部は、基端が前記本体部に接続され、斜め下方に向けて延出する傾斜部を含む請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記傾斜部に前記相手方コネクタ本体の相手方嵌合ガイド部に取付けられた相手方補強金具が当接すると、該相手方補強金具は前記傾斜部に沿ってスライドし、前記相手方嵌合ガイド部は前記嵌合凹部内に誘込まれる請求項4に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記補強金具は、前記本体部の左右両端に接続され、コネクタ本体の長手方向に延在する接続腕部と、該接続腕部に接続され、前記嵌合凹部内において下方に向けて延出する接触腕部とを更に含み、該接触腕部は、前記嵌合凹部に挿入された相手方嵌合ガイド部に取付けられた相手方補強金具と接触する接触部を含む請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記島端部の両側の島端側面は、平面視において、端壁部に近付くにつれて島端部の幅方向の寸法が漸減するような傾斜面である請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタ。
- 請求項1~7のいずれか1項に記載のコネクタと、該コネクタと嵌合する相手方コネクタとを有するコネクタセット。
