Abstract
【解決手段】自動車電装補機に用いられる外輪回転用転がり軸受に封入されるグリース組成物が基油、増ちょう剤、耐剥離添加剤、耐摩耗添加剤、および防錆剤を含有し、基油はトリメリット酸エステル油と合成炭化水素油との割合が質量比でトリメリット酸エステル油:合成炭化水素油=(70:30)〜(90:10)の混合油であり、増ちょう剤が式(1)で示されるジウレア化合物であることを特徴とする。
式中、R2は炭素数6〜15の2価の芳香族炭化水素基を表し、R1はシクロヘキシル基を表す。

Description
また、上記耐摩耗添加剤が、ジアルキルジチオリン酸亜鉛であり、グリース組成物全量に対して、0.1〜2.0質量%含有することを特徴とする。
また、上記防錆剤は、ナフテン酸亜鉛を必須成分とし、グリース組成物全量に対して、0.5〜5.0質量%含有することを特徴とする。
(1)基油
基油は、トリメリット酸エステル油と合成炭化水素油との混合油である。トリメリット酸エステル油は、高温下での蒸発損失が少なく、酸化安定性に優れている。また、合成炭化水素油は、低温性に優れている。トリメリット酸エステル油と合成炭化水素油との割合は、質量比でトリメリット酸エステル油:合成炭化水素油=(70:30)〜(90:10)である。すなわち、混合油全量に対して、トリメリット酸エステル油が70〜90質量%、残部が合成炭化水素油であり、合成炭化水素油が30〜10質量%である。混合油の割合がこの範囲外となると、高温耐久性・低温性・耐剥離性・防錆性の全ての特性を満足することができなくなる。
増ちょう剤は、せん断安定性や高温耐久性に優れた上記式(1)で表されるジウレア化合物である。R2は炭素数が6〜15の2価の芳香族炭化水素基である。炭素数が上記範囲未満であるとグリースの増ちょう性が劣り、上記範囲をこえるとグリースが硬化し易くなる。R2としては、例えば、芳香族単環、芳香族縮合環、これら単環または縮合環がメチレン鎖、シアヌル環、イソシアヌル環等で連結された基等が挙げられ、好ましい芳香族炭化水素基としては以下の式(3)で表されるそれぞれの基が挙げられる。
増ちょう剤の配合量はグリース全量に対して5〜25質量%が好ましく、5質量%未満ではグリースが軟らかく、軸受から漏洩するおそれがあり、25質量%を超えるとグリースが硬く、冷時異音が発生するおそれがある.
耐剥離添加剤は、モリブデン酸ナトリウム、モリブデン酸カリウム、およびモリブデン酸リチウムから選ばれる少なくとも1つのモリブデン酸アルカリ金属塩である。好ましくはモリブデン酸カリウムである。
耐剥離添加剤の配合量は、グリース組成物全量に対して、0.1〜1.5質量%が好ましい。更に好ましくは、0.6〜1.2質量%である。耐剥離添加剤の配合量が0.1質量%未満では十分な耐剥離性が得られず、1.5質量%を超えると、冷時異音が発生するおそれがある。
高温耐久性を向上させる耐摩耗添加剤は、下記式(5)で表されるジアルキルジチオリン酸亜鉛(ZnDTP)である。
配合量はグリース組成物全量に対して、0.1〜2.0質量%であることが好ましい。0.1質量%未満では十分な効果が得られず、2.0質量%を超えると、防錆性や高温耐久性を低下させる。
防錆剤はナフテン酸亜鉛を必須成分とする。防錆剤全量に対して、ナフテン酸亜鉛を10質量%以上含む防錆剤が好ましい。より好ましくはナフテン酸亜鉛を単独使用することである。
防錆剤の配合量は、グリース組成物全量に対して、ナフテン酸亜鉛として0.5〜5.0質量%であることが好ましい。0.5質量%未満では防錆性が低下し、5.0質量%を超えると高温耐久性を低下させる。
トリメリット酸エステル油としてトリメリット酸トリス(イソノニル)(40℃における動粘度;90mm2/s、流動点;−38℃)と、合成炭化水素油としてポリαオレフィン油(40℃における動粘度;30mm2/s、流動点;−55℃)との混合油からなる基油を表1に示す配合割合で調製した。なお、比較例5〜7に示すポリオールエステル油は、40℃における動粘度;71mm2/s、流動点;−48℃の特性の商品名ハトコールH3144を用いた。また、ジアルキルジチオリン酸亜鉛はLubrizol社製、商品名BECROSAN9045を、ナフテン酸亜鉛系防錆剤はキレスト社製、商品名キレスガードCを、エステル系防錆剤は日油社製、商品名ノニオンOP−80Rを、スルフォネート系防錆剤はMORESCO社製、商品名スルホールCa−45Nを、アミン系酸化防止剤はVANDERBILT社製、商品名VANLUBE81を、フェノール系酸化防止剤はBASF社製、商品名IRGANOX L101をそれぞれ用いた。
JIS K 2220 により測定した。
以下に示す、高温環境下でグリースを封入した転がり軸受を内輪回転で回転させ、転がり軸受が寿命に至るまでの時間を測定した。
軸受 : 6204(鉄保持器・金属シール)
試験温度 : 180℃
軸受回転数 : 10000rpm
試験荷重 : アキシャル荷重67N ラジアル荷重67N
グリース封入量: 1.8g
以下に示す、低温環境下でグリースを封入した転がり軸受を外輪回転で回転させ、同一試験者による聴覚により冷時異音の発生の有無を評価し、全試験回数に対する冷時異音が発生しなかった回数の割合を合格率として評価した。
軸受 : 6203
試験温度 : −40℃
軸受回転数 : 0〜6670rpm
試験荷重 : ラジアル荷重250N
グリース封入量: 0.56g
JIS K 2220 により、−40℃における起動トルク、回転トルクをそれぞれ測定した。
グリースを封入した転がり軸受を外輪回転で急加減速させ、全試験回数に対する水素脆性剥離の発生しなかった回数の割合を合格率として評価した。

試験温度 : 室温
軸受回転数 : 0〜12000rpm
試験荷重 : ラジアル荷重3000N
試験時聞 : 1000h
グリース封入量: 0.88g
グリースを塗布した円錐ころ軸受を1質量%の塩水に10秒間浸漬させ、高湿環境下で静置させた。試験後に軸受を取り出し、外輪転走面を目視で観察した。評価は外輪転走面を32区画に分割し、そのうち何区画に錆が発生しているかで、錆発生率を算出した。

試験湿度 : 100%RH
試験時間 : 48h
Claims (5)
- 前記トリメリット酸エステル油は、40℃における動粘度が40〜140mm2/sで、流動点が−35℃以下であり、前記合成炭化水素油は、40℃における動粘度が10〜60mm2/sで流動点−50℃以下であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のグリース組成物。
- 前記耐剥離添加剤が、モリブデン酸ナトリウム、モリブデン酸カリウム、およびモリブデン酸リチウムから選ばれる少なくとも1つのモリブデン酸アルカリ金属塩であり、グリース組成物全量に対して、0.1〜1.5質量%含有することを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2記載のグリース組成物。
- 前記耐摩耗添加剤が、ジアルキルジチオリン酸亜鉛であり、グリース組成物全量に対して、0.1〜2.0質量%含有することを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3までのいずれか1項記載のグリース組成物。
- 前記防錆剤は、ナフテン酸亜鉛を必須成分とし、グリース組成物全量に対して、0.5〜5.0質量%含有することを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4までのいずれか1項記載のグリース組成物。
