Description
本出願は、米国特許法第119条(e)の下で、2011年4月6日に出願した米国特許仮出願整理番号第61/472,500号に対する優先権を主張し、その開示は、参照によりその全体が本明細書に組み込まれる。
本発明は概して、整形外科関節置換術の実施で使用するための、整形外科用器具に関し、より具体的には、改良人工股関節置換術の実施で使用するための、整形外科用器具に関する。
(1) 植え込み可能なモジュール式整形外科股関節人工装具であって、
植え込み可能な遠位ステム構成部品であって、(i)その外面に形成され、植え込み可能な近位本体構成部品のテーパー付きボアの中に受容されるように構成されるテーパー付きポストと、(ii)前記遠位ステム構成部品の上面の中に開口する上方端を有し、前記遠位ステム構成部品の中へと下方に延在する一連の上方の雌ネジと、(iii)前記一連の上方の雌ネジの下方端の中に開口する上方端を有する一連の下方の雌ネジであって、前記一連の上方の雌ネジから下方に延在する一連の下方の雌ネジと、を有する、植え込み可能な遠位ステム構成部品を備え、前記一連の上方の雌ネジの直径が、前記一連の下方の雌ネジの直径より大きい、植え込み可能なモジュール式整形外科股関節人工装具。
(2) 前記遠位ステム構成部品が、前記一連の下方の雌ネジの下方端の中に開口する上方端を有する止まり穴を更に有し、
前記止まり穴が、前記一連の下方の雌ネジから下方に延在し、
前記止まり穴が、丸みがついている下方端を有する、実施態様1に記載のモジュール式整形外科股関節人工装具。
(3) 前記一連の下方の雌ネジの前記雌ネジのそれぞれの最も外側の縁は、丸みがついている、実施態様1に記載のモジュール式整形外科股関節人工装具。
(4) 前記遠位ステム構成部品が、前記遠位ステム構成部品の前記上面に形成されたキー溝を更に有する、実施態様1に記載のモジュール式整形外科股関節人工装具。
(5) 前記キー溝が、前記一連の上方の雌ネジの前記上方端を画定する、前記遠位ステム構成部品の側壁内に形成される、実施態様4に記載のモジュール式整形外科股関節人工装具。
(7) 前記遠位ステム構成部品が、前記遠位ステム構成部品の前記上面に固定され、かつこれから上方に延在する位置合わせキーを更に有する、実施態様1に記載のモジュール式整形外科股関節人工装具。
(8) 前記位置合わせキーが、前記遠位ステム構成部品の前記上面から上方に延在するタブを備える、実施態様7に記載のモジュール式整形外科股関節人工装具。
(9) 前記遠位ステム構成部品が、弓状の遠位ステム構成部品を備え、前記弓状の遠位ステム構成部品が、その凸側に沿って延在する頂点を有し、
前記位置合わせキーが、前記頂点に対応する、前記弓状の遠位ステム構成部品の側に位置付けられる、実施態様7に記載のモジュール式整形外科股関節人工装具。

植え込み可能な遠位ステム構成部品であって、(i)その外面に形成されるテーパー付きポストであって、植え込み可能な近位本体構成部品のテーパー付きボアの中に受容されるように構成されるテーパー付きポストと、(ii)前記遠位ステム構成部品の上面の中に開口し、かつ前記遠位ステム構成部品の中に下方に延在する上方端を有する螺刻されたボアと、(iii)前記遠位ステム構成部品の前記上面に固定され、かつこれから上方に延在する位置合わせキーと、を有する、植え込み可能な遠位ステム構成部品を備える、モジュール式整形外科股関節人工装具。
(12) 前記遠位ステム構成部品が、弓状の遠位ステム構成部品を備え、前記弓状の遠位ステム構成部品が、その凸側に沿って延在する頂点を有し、
前記位置合わせキーが、前記頂点に対応する、前記弓状の遠位ステム構成部品の側に位置付けられる、実施態様10に記載のモジュール式整形外科股関節人工装具。

- 植え込み可能なモジュール式整形外科股関節人工装具であって、
植え込み可能な遠位ステム構成部品であって、(i)その外面に形成され、植え込み可能な近位本体構成部品のテーパー付きボアの中に受容されるように構成されるテーパー付きポストと、(ii)前記遠位ステム構成部品の中へと下方に延在する一連の雌ネジであって、前記一連の雌ネジのネジ山のそれぞれの最も外側の縁は、丸みがついている、一連の雌ネジと、(iii)前記一連の雌ネジの下方端の中に開口する上方端を有する止まり穴であって、前記一連の雌ネジから下方に延在し、丸みがついている下方端を有する、止まり穴と、を有する、植え込み可能な遠位ステム構成部品を備える、植え込み可能なモジュール式整形外科股関節人工装具。 - 前記遠位ステム構成部品が、前記遠位ステム構成部品の上面に形成されたキー溝を更に有する、請求項1に記載のモジュール式整形外科股関節人工装具。
- 前記キー溝が、前記一連の雌ネジを画定する、前記遠位ステム構成部品の側壁内に形成されている、請求項2に記載のモジュール式整形外科股関節人工装具。

植え込み可能な遠位ステム構成部品であって、(i)その外面に形成され、植え込み可能な近位本体構成部品のテーパー付きボアの中に受容されるように構成されるテーパー付きポストと、(ii)前記遠位ステム構成部品の中に下方に延在する螺刻されたボアと、(iii)前記螺刻されたボアの下方端の中に開口する上方端を有する止まり穴であって、前記螺刻されたボアから下方に延在し、丸みがついている下方端を有する、止まり穴と、を有する、植え込み可能な遠位ステム構成部品を備える、植え込み可能なモジュール式整形外科股関節人工装具。 - 前記螺刻されたボアのネジ山のそれぞれの最も外側の縁は、丸みがついている、請求項8に記載のモジュール式整形外科股関節人工装具。
- 前記植え込み可能な遠位ステム構成部品は、前記遠位ステム構成部品の上面に固定され、かつこれから上方に延在する位置合わせキーを更に備える、請求項8に記載のモジュール式整形外科股関節人工装具。
