Abstract
【解決手段】空気入りタイヤのトレッドに設けられた陸部16にサイプ18を設ける。サイプ18は、溝幅W1を持つ幅広部20と、溝幅W1よりも小さい溝幅W2を持つ幅狭部22とで構成される。幅広部20は、サイプ長さ方向Lの両端部においてサイプ深さ方向Dに延在するとともに、サイプ深さ方向Dの上端部(開口24側)においてサイプ長さ方向Lに延在する。幅狭部22は、サイプ長さ方向Lの両側とサイプ深さ方向Dの開口24側との三方を幅広部20により取り囲まれ、かつサイプ底26まで延在する。

Description
実施形態に係る空気入りタイヤは、図示を省略したが、左右一対のビード部及びサイドウォール部と、左右のサイドウォール部の径方向外方端部同士を連結するように両サイドウォール部間に設けられたトレッド部10とを備えて構成されており、トレッドパターン以外については一般的なタイヤ構造を採用することができる。
図6〜8に基づいて第2実施形態に係るサイプ及びサイプ板の構成について説明する。第2実施形態のサイプ18Aは、幅狭部22における上記一対の壁面28,30の少なくとも一方に、サイプ深さ方向Dに延びる少なくとも一本の凹溝32が設けられた点で第1実施形態とは異なる。
上記実施形態では、サイプ18,18Aを閉塞サイプとしたが、一端が主溝に開口し他端がブロック内で終端する片側オープンサイプや、両端が主溝に開口する両側オープンサイプに適用してもよい。好ましくは、ブロック16の変形をより効果的に抑制することができるため、閉塞サイプに適用することである。
Claims (6)
- トレッドに設けられた陸部と、前記陸部に設けられたサイプとを備え、
前記サイプは、
第1の溝幅を持ち、サイプ長さ方向の両端部においてサイプ深さ方向に延在するとともに、サイプ深さ方向の上端部においてサイプ長さ方向に延在する幅広部と、
前記第1の溝幅よりも小さい第2の溝幅を持ち、サイプ長さ方向の両側とサイプ深さ方向の開口側との三方を前記幅広部により取り囲まれ、かつサイプ底まで延在する幅狭部と、を含む、
空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記幅狭部は、前記第2の溝幅が0.6mm以下であり、かつ、対向する一対の壁面の算出平均粗さRaが1.6μm以下である、請求項1記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記幅狭部における前記一対の壁面の少なくとも一方に、サイプ深さ方向に延びる少なくとも一本の凹溝が設けられた、請求項2記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記サイプは、サイプ長さ方向の両端が陸部内で終端する閉塞サイプである、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- トレッドに形成される陸部にサイプを成形するためのサイプ板を備え、
前記サイプ板は、
成形型本体に対する付け根部に沿って延在する下枠部と該下枠部の両端部から高さ方向に延在する横枠部とからなる枠状部と、
前記枠状部の厚みよりも小さい厚みを持ち、サイプ底に相当する先端側を除く三方を前記枠状部により取り囲まれ、かつ先端まで延在する薄板部と、を含む、
空気入りタイヤの成形型。 - 前記薄板部は、厚みが0.6mm以下であり、かつ、サイプの対向する一対の壁面を成形する一対の側面の算出平均粗さRaが1.8μm以下である、請求項5記載の空気入りタイヤの成形型。
