図5Aおよび5Bは、付与した反応体に旋回流パターンを付与するように設計された2つの混合器を示す。両方の実施形態において、混合器500は、45°の角度α、7°の角度β、および60°の角度γを組み込んでいる。入口504を介して付与された反応体、塩化メチルの流量は215.4kg/時間であるが、図5Aに示す混合器500の実施形態において入口505を介して付与された反応体混合物、四塩化炭素およびペルクロロエチレンの流量は、それぞれ236.5kg/時間および10.2kg/時間である。図5Bに示す混合器500の実施形態において、図5Aにおける入口505を介して付与された反応体混合物は、流れパターン発生ゾーンの上流で図5Bにおける注入口(図示せず)を介して付与される。最外チャンバ出口の内径(Dco)、流れパターン発生ゾーンおよび混合ゾーンの最外管の内径は1.5インチである。流れ発生ゾーン長さ(Lfpd)は8インチであり、混合ゾーン(Lm)は12インチである。
Claims (20)
- 化学プロセスに用いる混合器であって;
少なくとも1つのチャンバへの少なくとも1つの入口において、チャンバ−入口角が90°未満である、前記入口と;
90°未満の拡張器角で外側に拡張する内径を有する拡張器ゾーンと
を含む混合器。 - 前記チャンバ−入口角が、30〜80°である、請求項1に記載の混合器。
- 前記拡張器角が、20°未満である、請求項1に記載の混合器。
- 前記チャンバの内径が、前記チャンバ入口の内径の少なくとも1.25倍である、請求項1に記載の混合器。
- 前記チャンバが、出口をさらに含み、前記チャンバ内径が、前記チャンバ出口の内径よりも大きい、請求項1に記載の混合器。
- 2つのチャンバを含み、前記2つのチャンバの出口が、同心に配置されている、請求項1または5に記載の混合器。
- 内側チャンバ出口の断面積対前記内側チャンバ出口および外側チャンバ出口によって作り出された環状空間の断面積の比が、1と3との間にある、請求項6に記載の混合器。
- 前記拡張器ゾーンの上流の混合ゾーンをさらに含み、前記チャンバ出口が、前記混合ゾーンに流体接続されている、請求項1に記載の混合器。
- 前記拡張器ゾーンの上流で第2管内に第1管を含む流れパターン発生ゾーンをさらに含む、請求項2または6に記載の混合器。
- 前記第1管が、第1チャンバ出口に流体接続されており、前記第2管が、第2チャンバ出口に流体接続されている、請求項9に記載の混合器。
- 前記流れパターン発生ゾーンの長さが、前記チャンバ出口の最外の直径の少なくとも0.5倍である、請求項10に記載の混合器。
- 前記流れパターン発生ゾーンの内径が、前記チャンバ出口および/または前記混合ゾーンの内径より小さいまたはこれに等しい、請求項9に記載の混合器。
- 1つ以上のチャンバのうち内側チャンバが先細になって、前記チャンバ出口を付与している、請求項5に記載の混合器。
- 前記流れパターン発生ゾーンの下流に混合ゾーンをさらに含む、請求項9に記載の混合器。
- 前記混合ゾーンが、最外チャンバ出口および/または前記流れパターン発生ゾーンの最外管に流体接続されている単一の管を含む、請求項6または14に記載の混合器。
- 前記混合ゾーンの長さが、前記混合ゾーン内径と略同じまたはこれより大きい、請求項15に記載の混合器。
- 内径を有する反応器と;
前記反応器内径より小さい内径を有する入口を有する混合器と
を含む装置であって、
前記混合器が、90°未満の拡張器角で外側に拡張する内径を有する拡張器ゾーンをさらに含む、装置。 - 前記混合器のチャンバ出口の内径対前記反応器の前記内径に対する比が、2〜5である、請求項17に記載の装置。
- 前記反応器が、0.1フィート超36フィート未満の内径を有する、請求項17に記載の装置。
- 限定試薬を含む化学プロセスにおいて少なくとも2つの反応体を混合するためのプロセスであって:
前記少なくとも2つの反応体を、内径を有する反応器と前記反応器の内径より小さい内径を有する入口を有する混合器とを含む装置に付与すること
を含み、前記混合器が、90°未満の拡張器角で外側に拡張する内径を有する拡張器ゾーンをさらに含む、プロセス。
