Abstract
Description
酸化アルミニウム(Al2O3)、スピネル(MgAl2O4)、又は12Ce−TZP/Al2O3複合材。ガラスを含浸させた酸化アルミニウムは、二ケイ酸リチウムをベースとするガラスセラミックと同等の機械的強度を有するが、不透明性がやや高い。ガラスを含浸させたスピネルは、明らかにより半透明であり、二ケイ酸リチウムをベースとするガラスセラミックと同等の機械的特性を有する。ガラスを含浸させた酸化ジルコニウム/酸化アルミニウム複合材は、スリップキャストしたあらゆる歯科用セラミックの中で最も強度と破壊靭性が高い。
a)所定の組成を有する粉末混合物を水に入れる工程、沈降を避けるために任意で液化剤を用い、
b)ディソルバー(迅速に稼働する攪拌機)で均質化する工程、
c)攪拌ビーズミルで粉砕する工程、この際に粉末混合物の比表面積が増大する(=微細化と均質化)、
d)任意で、有機結合剤を添加する工程、
e)スプレー乾燥する工程、この際に規定の特性を有する流動性の顆粒が生じ、
f)顆粒を水、及び任意のさらなるプレス成形用助剤で濡らす工程、
g)ブロックを軸方向にプレス成形する工程、
h)グリーン状態、又は予備焼結状態にあるブロックを切削加工する工程、この際に、焼結収縮を充分に考慮して、最終的な輪郭が形成され、
i)焼結する工程(これは三段階の焼結で行うこともできる:理論密度の約97%に予備か焼)。なお残存している残留細孔は外側から閉鎖されている。高温、高気圧下での熱間等方圧加圧法(HIP)、これにより実質的に完全な最終緻密体となる。いわゆる白色燃焼、これによって、熱間等方圧加圧法の際に生じる、セラミック内における酸素イオンの不均衡が解消される
j)ダイヤモンド装填工具を用いて、研磨及び研ぎ出しによって硬質加工する工程。
ストロンチウムヘキサアルミネート(SrAl12O19)、ランタンアルミネート(LaAl11O18)、ヒドロキシアパタイト(Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2)、フルオロアパタイト(Ca10(PO4)6F2)、トリリン酸カルシウム(Ca3(PO4)2)、スピネル(MgAl2O4)、酸化アルミニウム(Al2O3)、イットリウムアルミニウムガーネット(Y3Al5O12)、ムライト(Al6Si2O13)、ジルコン(ZrSiO4)、石英(SiO2)、タルク(Mg3Si4O10(OH)2)、カオリナイト(Al2Si2O5(OH)4)、ピロフィライト(Al2Si4O10(OH)2)、カリ長石(KAlSi3O8)、リューサイト(KAlSi2O6)、及びメタケイ酸リチウム(Li2SiO3)。好ましくはストロンチウムアルミネート、ランタンアルミネート、ヒドロキシアパタイト、フルオロアパタイト、スピネル、酸化アルミニウム、及びジルコンを、特に好適にはランタンアルミネート、フルオロアパタイト、スピネル、及び酸化アルミニウムを使用する。
図1は、本発明による分散質ありの試験と、本発明による分散質無しの試験の結果を示し、それぞれ異なる化学的な安定化剤が用いられている。x軸11上には、使用した分散質相の量と種類が記載されている。このx軸には、分散質無しの酸化ジルコニウムであって、安定化剤としてY2O3を有する13と、安定化剤としてCeO2を有する14、分散質としてストロンチウムヘキサアルミネートを15体積%有する酸化ジルコニウムであって、安定化剤としてY2O3を有する15と、安定化剤としてCeO2を有する16、及び分散質としてAl2O3を30体積%有する酸化ジルコニウムであって、安定化剤としてY2O3を有する17と、安定化剤としてCeO2を有する18が、y軸10(ビッカース硬度HV−10)に対して記載されている。
図2は、本発明による複合材における様々な分散質による試験群を示す。この試験群では、複合材における分散質相の含分が同じ(5体積%)変法のみを、相互に比較した。y軸20には、ビッカース硬度HV10を取った。X軸21は、それぞれ5体積%の分散質を有する酸化ジルコニウムを示し(23と23aではSrAl12O19、24と24aではMgAl2O4、25ではSiO2、26ではZrSiO4、27ではAl6Si2O13、28ではAl2Si2O5(OH)4)、比較のために分散質の無い22と22aが記載されている。すべての組成物(22、23、24、25、26、27、及び28)について、Y2O3で安定化した変法を試験し、ストロンチウムヘキサアルミネートとスピネルを分散質として有する酸化ジルコニウム複合材についてはさらに、CeO2で安定化した変法(22a、23a)を試験した。
図3は、本発明による分散質を様々な分散質濃度(体積%)で有する(x軸31)、複数の試験群を示す。32:酸化アルミニウム(Al2O3)、34:ヒドロキシアパタイト(Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2)、及び33:ストロンチウムヘキサアルミネート(SrAl12O19)を、Yで安定化された酸化ジルコニウムで、そして35:スピネル(MgAl2O4)をCeで安定化された酸化ジルコニウムで試験した。
図4は、純粋な酸化ジルコニウム複合材と、本発明による複合材に対する、化学的な安定化剤の影響を表す試験群を示す。x軸には、それぞれの分散質相を有する複合材が記載されている。すなわち、純粋な酸化ジルコニウム(42、43)、ストロンチウムヘキサアルミネートを分散質相として25体積%有する酸化ジルコニウム(44、45)、及びAl2O3を分散質相として30体積%有する酸化ジルコニウム(46、47)を、それぞれ化学的な安定化剤としてY2O3(42、44、46)又はCeO2(43、45、47)を用いて試験した。
図5は、様々な分散質を有する試験群と、本発明による複合材の破壊靭性への影響を示す(y軸50)。x軸51には、純粋な酸化ジルコニウム複合材(52、52a)、分散質相として、ストロンチウムヘキサアルミネートを有する酸化ジルコニウム(53、53a)、スピネルを有する酸化ジルコニウム(54a)、石英を有する酸化ジルコニウム(55)、ジルコンを有する酸化ジルコニウム(56)、ムライトを有する酸化ジルコニウム(57)、及びカオリナイトを有する酸化ジルコニウム(58)、一部についてはY2O3で安定化されたもの(52、53、55、56、57、58)、及び一部についてはCeO2で安定化されたもの(52a、53a、54a)が記載されている。
図6は、分散質を有し、分散質相を様々な含分で有する本発明による複合材を用いた、複数の試験群を示す。x軸61には分散質相の含分が、体積%で記載されている。y軸(60)には、破壊靭性がMPa*m0.5で記載されている。
図7は、Yで安定化され、二次相としてストロンチウムヘキサアルミネートを有する、本発明による複合材を示す。x軸71には様々な複合材が、二次相含分(体積%)で特定されている。y軸70には、HV50損傷後の複合材の残留強度が、MPaで記載されている。試験した複合材には、72という符号を付した。
図8は、様々な材料系の様々な損傷(ここではビッカース硬度圧子)後の残留強度の値を示し、82がZTA(ジルコニア強化アルミナ)、83がY−TZP(Yで安定化された多結晶酸化ジルコニウム)、そして84が本発明による複合材(ストロンチウムヘキサアルミネートで強化したジルコニア)である。試験した圧子負荷量は対数によりNでx軸81に記載され、y軸80には、残留強度がMPaで記載されている。
・本発明による複合材の製造は、公知、慣用のセラミック技術によって行われる
・三段階の焼結(予備か焼、HIP、白色燃焼)によって、強度が向上する
・CeO2を化学的な安定化剤として用いることにより、熱水による老化が起こらない
・機械的な部分安定化、又は老化耐性に対して否定的な影響を与えない他の化学的な安定化剤のさらなる添加により、化学的な安定化剤としてのY2O3含分が減少したため、熱水による老化が明らかに低減
・許容応力が高い
・硬質加工におけるリスクが減少
・硬度が比較的低い
・歯科技術、及び/又は歯科医療領域において、予備焼結状態、若しくは緻密体に焼結された状態でCAD/CAM加工用のブランク及び/又はブロックを製造するため、歯科補綴、歯科補修材(ブリッジ、クラウン、インレー、アンレー)のため、本発明による複合材が使用可能
・歯根用ねじ、インプラント、アバットメント、及びさらなる適用における使用が好ましい
・脊柱インプラント(例えばスペーサー/ケージ)として特に好ましい。
図2は、本発明による複合材における様々な分散質による試験群を示す。この試験群では、複合材における分散質相の含分が同じ(5体積%)変法のみを、相互に比較した。y軸20には、ビッカース硬度HV10を取った。X軸21は、それぞれ5体積%の分散質を有する酸化ジルコニウムを示し(23と23aではSrAl12O19、24ではMgAl2O4、25ではSiO2、26ではZrSiO4、27ではAl6Si2O13、28ではAl2Si2O5(OH)4)、比較のために分散質の無い22と22aが記載されている。すべての組成物(22、23、24、25、26、27、及び28)について、Y2O3で安定化した変法を試験し、ストロンチウムヘキサアルミネートとスピネルを分散質として有する酸化ジルコニウム複合材についてはさらに、CeO2で安定化した変法(22a、23a)を試験した。
図4は、純粋な酸化ジルコニウム複合材と、本発明による複合材に対する、化学的な安定化剤の影響を表す試験群を示す。x軸には、それぞれの分散質相を有する複合材が記載されている。すなわち、純粋な酸化ジルコニウム(42、43)、ストロンチウムヘキサアルミネートを分散質相として15体積%有する酸化ジルコニウム(44、45)、及びAl2O3を分散質相として30体積%有する酸化ジルコニウム(46、47)を、それぞれ化学的な安定化剤としてY2O3(42、44、46)又はCeO2(43、45、47)を用いて試験した。
Claims (15)
- 酸化ジルコニウムから構成されるセラミック製マトリックスと、当該マトリックスに分散された少なくとも1種の二次相とを含有する複合材において、
酸化ジルコニウムから構成される前記マトリックスが、前記複合材において少なくとも51体積%の割合を占め、前記二次相が、前記複合材において1〜49体積%の割合を占め、
ここで前記酸化ジルコニウムは、酸化ジルコニウムの割合全体に対して実質的に、好適には90〜99%、特に好ましくは95〜99%が立方晶相で存在し、かつ前記酸化ジルコニウムの立方晶相が、化学的に、及び/又は機械的に安定化されていることを特徴とする、前記複合材。 - 酸化ジルコニウムから構成される前記マトリックスの粒度が、平均0.1〜2.0μm、好ましくは平均0.5〜2.0μmであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の複合材。
- 化学的な安定化剤として、Y2O3、CeO2、Gd2O3、Sm2O3、及び/又はEr2O3が含有されており、ここで化学的な安定化剤の合計含分は、酸化ジルコニウム含分に対して12mol%未満であることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の複合材。
- それぞれ酸化ジルコニウム含分に対して、Y2O3の含分が3mol%以下、好ましくは2.5mol%以下であり、かつ/又はCeO2の含分が12mol%以下であり、かつ/又はGd2O3の含分が3mol%以下であり、かつ/又はSm2O3の含分が、3mol%以下であり、かつ/又はEr2O3の含分が、3mol%以下であることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の複合材。
- 前記酸化ジルコニウム及び/又は前記二次相が、可溶性の成分を含有することを特徴とする、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載の複合材。
- 前記可溶性の成分として、1種以上の以下の元素:
Cr、Fe、Mg、Ca、Ti、Y、Ce、ランタノイド、及び/又はV
が、好適には酸化物として含有されていることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の複合材。 - 前記二次相が分散質を含有し、当該分散質の結晶構造に基づき、微視的な平面における剪断変形が可能になり、かつ/又は複合材の硬度が低下することを特徴とする、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項に記載の複合材。
- 前記二次相の粒径が、前記酸化ジルコニウムの粒度以下であり、ここで前記粒径は好適には0.2〜2.0μm、特に好ましくは0.2〜0.5μmであることを特徴とする、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載の複合材。
- 前記二次相の体積割合が、1〜10体積%、特に好ましくは4〜6体積%であることを特徴とする、請求項1から8までのいずれか1項に記載の複合材。
- 前記二次相が、以下の1種以上の化合物:
ストロンチウムヘキサアルミネート(SrAl12O19)、ランタンアルミネート(LaAl11O18)、ヒドロキシアパタイト(Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2)、フルオロアパタイト(Ca10(PO4)6F2)、トリリン酸カルシウム(Ca3(PO4)2)、スピネル(MgAl2O4)、酸化アルミニウム(Al2O3)、イットリウムアルミニウムガーネット(Y3Al5O12)、ムライト(Al6Si2O13)、ジルコン(ZrSiO4)、石英(SiO2)、タルク(Mg3Si4O10(OH)2)、カオリナイト(Al2Si2O5(OH)4)、ピロフィライト(Al2Si4O10(OH)2)、カリ長石(KAlSi3O8)、リューサイト(KAlSi2O6)、及びメタケイ酸リチウム(Li2SiO3)から、
好ましくはストロンチウムヘキサアルミネート、ランタンアルミネート、ヒドロキシアパタイト、フルオロアパタイト、スピネル、酸化アルミニウム、及びジルコンから、
選択されており、
特に好ましくはストロンチウムヘキサアルミネートであることを特徴とする、請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載の複合材。 - 前記複合材の硬度が、1350未満(HV10)、好ましくは1200未満、特に好ましくは1000未満であることを特徴とする、請求項1から10までのいずれか1項に記載の複合材。
- 前記複合材の破壊強度が、800MPa以上であることを特徴とする、請求項1から11までのいずれか1項に記載の複合材。
- HV50圧子後の許容応力又は残留強度が、400MPa超、好ましくは500MPa超、特に好ましくは600MPa超であることを特徴とする、請求項1から12までのいずれか1項に記載の複合材。
- 歯科技術及び医療技術における、特に義歯補綴、歯科補修材、例えばブリッジ、クラウン、インレー、及びアンレー、歯根用ねじ、インプラント、及びアバットメントを製造するため、好ましくはインプラント技術の分野で、特に好ましくは脊柱分野、例えばスペーサー/ケージにおける、請求項1から13までのいずれか1項に記載の複合材の使用。
- 請求項1から13までのいずれか1項に記載の複合材から焼結成形体を製造する方法において、以下の工程a)〜j):
a)所定の組成に従った粉末混合物を水に入れる工程、任意で液化剤を用いる
b)ディソルバー(迅速に稼働する攪拌機)で均質化する工程、
c)攪拌ビーズミルで粉砕する工程、
d)任意で、有機バインダーを添加する工程、
e)スプレー乾燥する工程、
f)顆粒を水、及び任意のさらなるプレス成形助剤で濡らす工程、
g)ブロックを軸方向にプレス成形する工程、
h)グリーン状態、又は予備焼結状態にあるブロックを切削加工する工程、
i)焼結する工程、
j)硬質加工する工程、
を有する、前記製造する方法。
