Claims (10)
- 酸化ジルコニウム製のセラミックマトリックスと、前記セラミックマトリックス中に分散した少なくとも1種の第二相とを有する複合材料において、前記酸化ジルコニウム製のマトリックスが、複合材料のうち最大で99重量%の割合を占め、かつ前記第二相が、複合材料のうち1〜30重量%、好ましくは1〜15重量%、特に好ましくは1〜5重量%の割合を占め、酸化ジルコニウムは実質的に、酸化ジルコニウムの合計割合を基準として、好適には90〜99%、好ましくは95〜99%、特に好ましくは98〜99%が、正方晶系および立方晶系の相として存在し、かつ前記酸化ジルコニウムの正方晶系および立方晶系の相は、化学的および/または機械的に安定化していることを特徴とする、前記複合材料。
- 前記酸化ジルコニウム製のマトリックスが、平均0.5〜2.0μm、好ましくは平均0.5〜1.5μmの組織粒度を有することを特徴とする、請求項1記載の複合材料。
- 化学安定剤として、MgO、CaO、CeO2、Gd2O3、Sm2O3、Er2O3、Y2O3、Yb2O3もしくはSc2O3またはこれらの混合物が含有されており、ここで前記化学安定剤の合計含量が、酸化ジルコニウム含量を基準として、12mol%未満、好ましくは10mol%未満、特に好ましくは5mol%未満であることを特徴とする、請求項1または2記載の複合材料。
- 前記酸化ジルコニウムおよび/または前記第二相が可溶性成分を含有することを特徴とする、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の複合材料。
- 前記第二相の組織粒度が、前記酸化ジルコニウムの組織粒度以下であり、前記組織粒度は、好適には0.1〜2.0μm、好ましくは0.1〜1.5μm、特に好ましくは0.1〜0.5μmであることを特徴とする、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の複合材料。
- 前記第二相が、以下の化合物:アルミン酸ストロンチウム(SrAl2O4またはSrAl12O19)、アルミン酸ランタン(LaAlO3またはLaAl11O18)、スピネル(MgAl2O4)、酸化アルミニウム(Al2O3)、ケイ酸ジルコニウム(ZrSiO4)、カリ長石(KAlSi3O8)およびリン酸ランタン(La(PO)4)のうち1種以上から選択されており、好ましくはアルミン酸ストロンチウム、酸化アルミニウムおよびケイ酸ジルコニウムから選択され、特に好ましくはケイ酸ジルコニウムが選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の複合材料。
- 原料混合物を1670℃未満、好ましくは1530℃未満、特に好ましくは1400℃未満の温度で焼結することにより製造されることを特徴とする、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載の複合材料。
- DIN EN843−1(EN843−1:2006年版/2008年8月刊行)に従った600MPa以上の四点曲げ破壊強度を有することを特徴とする、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項記載の複合材料。
- 導電性を、850℃で2.0S/m以上、1000℃で5.0S/m以上、1000℃で好適には6.0S/m以上有することを特徴とする、請求項1から8までのいずれか1項記載の複合材料。
- 電気工学またはセンサ技術における、殊に酸素センサを製造するための、特に好ましくはラムダセンサの半製品または部材としての、焼結されていないZrO2フィルムの形態での、請求項1から9までのいずれか1項記載の複合材料の使用。
