Claims (16)
- ワイヤレス通信装置において、
前記装置は、
第1のアンテナと第2のアンテナとのうちの少なくとも1つの1つ以上のアップリンク性能特性を決定する手段を具備し、
前記第1のアンテナの前記1つ以上のアップリンク性能特性がしきい値より悪い場合に、前記第1のアンテナおよび前記第2のアンテナの1つ以上のダウンリンク性能特性を決定する手段と、
前記第1のアンテナの前記1つ以上のダウンリンク性能特性が前記第2のアンテナの前記1つ以上のダウンリンク性能特性より悪い場合に、前記第1のアンテナを介してワイヤレス通信を送信することから、前記第2のアンテナを介してワイヤレス通信を送信するように、第1の送信回路を選択的にスイッチする手段とによって特徴付けられるワイヤレス通信装置。 - 前記第1のアンテナの前記1つ以上のアップリンク性能特性が前記第2のアンテナの前記1つ以上のアップリンク性能特性より悪い場合に、前記第1のアンテナを介してワイヤレス通信を送信することから、前記第2のアンテナを介してワイヤレス通信を送信するように、前記第1の送信回路を選択的にスイッチする手段をさらに具備する請求項1記載のワイヤレス通信装置。
- 前記第1のアンテナの前記1つ以上のアップリンク性能特性と前記第2のアンテナの前記1つ以上のアップリンク性能特性との間の差がしきい値より大きい場合に、前記第1のアンテナを介してワイヤレス通信を送信することから、前記第2のアンテナを介してワイヤレス通信を送信するように、前記第1の送信回路を選択的にスイッチする手段をさらに具備する請求項1記載のワイヤレス通信装置。
- 前記第2のアンテナの前記1つ以上のアップリンク性能特性が前記第1のアンテナの前記アップリンク性能特性より悪い場合に、前記第2のアンテナから前記第1のアンテナに選択的にスイッチバックする手段をさらに具備する請求項1記載のワイヤレス通信装置。
- 前記第1のアンテナの前記1つ以上のダウンリンク性能特性が前記第2のアンテナの前記1つ以上のダウンリンク性能特性より悪い場合に、前記第1のアンテナを介してワイヤレス通信を受信することから、前記第2のアンテナを介してワイヤレス通信を受信するように、第1の受信回路を選択的にスイッチする手段をさらに具備する請求項1記載のワイヤレス通信装置。
- 前記第1のアンテナと前記第2のアンテナとのうちの少なくとも1つの1つ以上のアップリンク性能特性に基づいて、前記第1のアンテナを介してワイヤレス通信を受信することから、前記第2のアンテナを介してワイヤレス通信を受信するように、第1の受信回路を選択的にスイッチする手段をさらに具備する請求項1記載のワイヤレス通信装置。
- 前記1つ以上のアップリンク性能特性を決定する手段は、
前記第1のアンテナの1つ以上のアップリンク性能特性を決定する手段と、
前記第2のアンテナの1つ以上のアップリンク性能特性を決定する手段とを備え、
前記選択的にスイッチする手段は、
前記第2のアンテナの前記1つ以上のアップリンク性能特性が前記第1のアンテナの前記1つ以上のアップリンク性能特性より良い場合に、前記第1のアンテナを介してワイヤレス通信を送信することから、前記第2のアンテナを介してワイヤレス通信を送信するように、前記第1の送信回路をスイッチする手段を備える請求項1記載のワイヤレス通信装置。 - 前記第1のアンテナと前記第2のアンテナとを含む複数のアンテナと、
前記第1の送信回路を含む複数の送信回路とをさらに具備し、
前記1つ以上のダウンリンク性能特性を決定する手段と前記選択的にスイッチする手段は制御装置を備える請求項1ないし7のいずれか1項記載のワイヤレス通信装置。 - ワイヤレス通信装置中で実現される方法において、
前記方法は、
第1のアンテナの1つ以上のアップリンク性能特性がしきい値より悪い場合に、前記第1のアンテナおよび第2のアンテナの1つ以上のダウンリンク性能特性を決定することと、
前記第1のアンテナの前記1つ以上のダウンリンク性能特性が前記第2のアンテナの前記1つ以上のダウンリンク性能特性より悪い場合に、前記第1のアンテナを介してワイヤレス通信を送信することから、前記第2のアンテナを介してワイヤレス通信を送信するように、第1の送信回路を選択的にスイッチすることとによって特徴付けられる方法。 - 前記第1のアンテナの前記1つ以上のアップリンク性能特性が前記第2のアンテナの1つ以上のアップリンク性能特性より悪い場合に、前記第1のアンテナを介してワイヤレス通信を送信することから、前記第2のアンテナを介してワイヤレス通信を送信するように、前記第1の送信回路を選択的にスイッチすることをさらに含む請求項9記載の方法。
- 前記第1のアンテナの前記1つ以上のアップリンク性能特性と前記第2のアンテナの1つ以上のアップリンク性能特性との間の差がしきい値より大きい場合に、前記第1のアンテナを介してワイヤレス通信を送信することから、前記第2のアンテナを介してワイヤレス通信を送信するように、前記第1の送信回路を選択的にスイッチすることをさらに含む請求項9記載の方法。
- 前記第2のアンテナの1つ以上のアップリンク性能特性が前記第1のアンテナの前記アップリンク性能特性より悪い場合に、前記第2のアンテナから前記第1のアンテナに選択的にスイッチバックすることをさらに含む請求項9記載の方法。
- 前記第1のアンテナの前記1つ以上のダウンリンク性能特性が前記第2のアンテナの前記1つ以上のダウンリンク性能特性より悪い場合に、前記第1のアンテナを介してワイヤレス通信を受信することから、前記第2のアンテナを介してワイヤレス通信を受信するように、第1の受信回路を選択的にスイッチすることをさらに含む請求項9記載の方法。
- 前記第1のアンテナと前記第2のアンテナとのうちの少なくとも1つの1つ以上のアップリンク性能特性に基づいて、前記第1のアンテナを介してワイヤレス通信を受信することから、前記第2のアンテナを介してワイヤレス通信を受信するように、第1の受信回路を選択的にスイッチすることをさらに含む請求項9記載の方法。
- 前記選択的にスイッチすることは、
前記第1のアンテナの1つ以上のアップリンク性能特性を決定することと、
前記第2のアンテナの1つ以上のアップリンク性能特性を決定することと、
前記第2のアンテナの前記1つ以上のアップリンク性能特性が前記第1のアンテナの前記1つ以上のアップリンク性能特性より良い場合に、前記第1のアンテナを介してワイヤレス通信を送信することから、前記第2のアンテナを介してワイヤレス通信を送信するように、前記第1の送信回路をスイッチすることとを含む請求項9記載の方法。 - 実行されるときに請求項9ないし15のいずれか1項記載の方法をデバイス中のプロセッサに実行させる命令を含む非一時的コンピュータ読み取り可能媒体。
