Claims (9)
- 約65モル%〜約70モル%のSiO2;
約9モル%〜約14モル%のAl2O3;
約0モル%〜約11モル%のB2O3;
約5モル%〜10モル%未満の酸化アルカリR2O(式中、Rは、Li、NaおよびKの少なくとも1つである);および
約3モル%〜約11モル%の二価酸化物MO(式中、Mは、Mg、Ca、Ba、SrOおよびZnの少なくとも1つである);
を含むガラス組成物であって、該ガラス組成物から形成されるガラスの平均熱膨張率が55×10−7/℃以下であり、該ガラス組成物における圧縮応力が、410℃での8時間の100%KNO3塩浴におけるイオン交換後で400MPa以上であり、かつ、液相粘度が35キロポアズ以上である、ガラス組成物。 - 第1のガラスクラッド層と第2のガラスクラッド層との間に配置されるガラスコア層、
を含むガラス物品であって、前記第1のガラスクラッド層および前記第2のガラスクラッド層が、
約55モル%〜約70モル%のSiO2;
約9モル%〜約14モル%のAl2O3;
約0モル%〜約11モル%のB2O3;
約5モル%〜10モル%未満の酸化アルカリR2O(式中、Rは、Li、NaおよびKの少なくとも1つである);および
約3モル%〜約11モル%の二価酸化物MO(式中、Mは、Mg、Ca、Ba、SrOおよびZnの少なくとも1つである);
を含むガラス組成物から形成される、ガラス物品。 - 前記第1のガラスクラッド層および前記第2のガラスクラッド層が65モル%超のSiO2を含む、請求項2に記載のガラス物品。
- ガラス組成物が、
約65モル%〜約68モル%のSiO2;
約10モル%〜約13モル%のAl2O3;
約6モル%〜約9モル%のB2O3;
約6モル%〜9モル%未満の酸化アルカリR2O(式中、Rは、Li、NaおよびKの少なくとも1つである);および
約7モル%〜約10モル%の二価酸化物MO(式中、Mは、Mg、CaおよびZnの少なくとも1つである);
を含む、請求項1に記載のガラス組成物、もしくは請求項2または3に記載のガラス物品。 - ガラス組成物におけるB2O3の濃度が約7モル%未満であること;
ガラス組成物における二価酸化物MOの濃度が9モル%未満であること;または
前記二価酸化物MOがMgOおよびCaOを含み、MgOの濃度(モル%)がCaOの濃度(モル%)よりも大きいこと;
の少なくとも1つである、請求項1または請求項4に記載のガラス組成物、もしくは請求項2〜4のいずれか1項に記載のガラス物品。 - ガラス組成物がイオン交換により強化される、請求項1および4〜5のいずれか1項に記載のガラス組成物または請求項2〜5のいずれか1項に記載のガラス物品。
- 前記ガラスコア層が所与の平均コア熱膨張率CTEコアを有し、かつ、
前記第1のガラスクラッド層および前記第2のガラスクラッド層が、前記平均コア熱膨張率CTEコアよりも小さい平均クラッド時熱膨張率CTEクラッドを有する、
請求項2〜6のいずれか1項に記載のガラス物品。 - 前記平均クラッド時熱膨張率CTEクラッドが20℃から300℃までの温度範囲において55×10−7/℃以下である、請求項7に記載のガラス物品。
- LCDディスプレイおよびLEDディスプレイ、コンピュータモニタ、現金自動預入支払機(ATM)を含む消費者用電子デバイスまたは商用電子デバイスにおけるカバーガラス用途またはガラスバックプレーン用途のための、タッチスクリーン用途またはタッチセンサー用途のための、携帯電話、パーソナルメディアプレーヤーおよびタブレット型コンピューターを含む携帯型電子デバイスのための、光起電性用途のための、建築用ガラス用途のための、自動車用または車両用のガラス用途のための、あるいは、商用または家庭用の電化製品用途のための請求項1および4〜9のいずれか1項に記載のガラス組成物の使用もしくは請求項2〜8のいずれか1項に記載のガラス物品の使用。
