Claims (13)
- ガラス組成物であって、
65モル%〜68モル%のSiO2;
9モル%〜14モル%のAl2O3;
0モル%〜11モル%のB2O3;
5モル%〜10モル%未満の酸化アルカリR2O(式中、Rは、Li、NaおよびKの少なくとも1つである);および
7モル%〜10モル%の二価酸化物MO(式中、Mは、Mg、Ca、Ba、SrおよびZnの少なくとも1つである);
を含み、該ガラス組成物から形成されるガラスの平均熱膨張率が55×10−7/℃以下であり、該ガラスにおける圧縮応力が、410℃での8時間の100%KNO3塩浴におけるイオン交換後で400MPa以上であり、かつ、液相粘度が35キロポアズ以上である、ガラス組成物。 - 10モル%〜13モル%のAl2O3;
6モル%〜9モル%のB2O3;
6モル%〜9モル%未満の酸化アルカリR2O(式中、Rは、Li、NaおよびKの少なくとも1つである);および
7モル%〜10モル%の二価酸化物MO(式中、Mは、Mg、CaおよびZnの少なくとも1つである);
を含む、請求項1記載のガラス組成物。 - ガラス組成物におけるB2O3の濃度が7モル%未満であること;
ガラス組成物における二価酸化物MOの濃度が9モル%未満であること;または
前記二価酸化物MOがMgOおよびCaOを含み、MgOの濃度(モル%)がCaOの濃度(モル%)よりも大きいこと;
の少なくとも1つである、請求項1または2記載のガラス組成物。 - イオン交換により強化された、請求項1から3いずれか1項記載のガラス組成物を含むガラス物品。
- 第1のガラスクラッド層と第2のガラスクラッド層との間に配置されるガラスコア層を含むガラス物品であって、前記第1のガラスクラッド層および前記第2のガラスクラッド層が、
55モル%〜70モル%のSiO2;
9モル%〜14モル%のAl2O3;
0モル%〜11モル%のB2O3;
5モル%〜10モル%未満の酸化アルカリR2O(式中、Rは、Li、NaおよびKの少なくとも1つである);および
7モル%〜10モル%の二価酸化物MO(式中、Mは、Mg、Ca、Ba、SrおよびZnの少なくとも1つである);
を含むガラス組成物から形成される、ガラス物品。 - 前記ガラス組成物が、
65モル%〜68モル%のSiO2;
10モル%〜13モル%のAl2O3;
6モル%〜9モル%のB2O3;
6モル%〜9モル%未満の酸化アルカリR2O(式中、Rは、Li、NaおよびKの少なくとも1つである);および
7モル%〜10モル%の二価酸化物MO(式中、Mは、Mg、CaおよびZnの少なくとも1つである);
を含む、請求項5記載のガラス物品。 - 前記第1のガラスクラッド層および前記第2のガラスクラッド層が65モル%超のSiO2を含む、請求項5または6記載のガラス物品。
- 前記ガラス組成物におけるB2O3の濃度が7モル%未満であること;
前記ガラス組成物における二価酸化物MOの濃度が9モル%未満であること;または
前記二価酸化物MOがMgOおよびCaOを含み、MgOの濃度(モル%)がCaOの濃度(モル%)よりも大きいこと;
の少なくとも1つである、請求項5から7いずれか1項記載のガラス物品。 - 前記第1のガラスクラッド層および前記第2のガラスクラッド層がイオン交換により強化された、請求項5から8いずれか1項記載のガラス物品。
- 前記ガラスコア層が所与の平均コア熱膨張率CTEコアを有し、かつ、
前記第1のガラスクラッド層および前記第2のガラスクラッド層が、前記平均コア熱膨張率CTEコアよりも小さい平均クラッド熱膨張率CTEクラッドを有する、
請求項5から9いずれか1項記載のガラス物品。 - 前記平均クラッド熱膨張率CTEクラッドが20℃から300℃までの温度範囲において55×10−7/℃以下である、請求項10記載のガラス物品。
- LCDディスプレイおよびLEDディスプレイ、コンピュータモニタ、現金自動預入支払機(ATM)を含む消費者用電子デバイスまたは商用電子デバイスにおけるカバーガラス用途またはガラスバックプレーン用途のための、タッチスクリーン用途またはタッチセンサー用途のための、携帯電話、パーソナルメディアプレーヤーおよびタブレット型コンピューターを含む携帯型電子デバイスのための、光起電性用途のための、建築用ガラス用途のための、自動車用または車両用のガラス用途のための、あるいは、商用または家庭用の電化製品用途のための請求項4から11いずれか1項記載のガラス物品の使用。
