Description

Claims (29)
- 約5〜約60体積%のcBNと、
ジルコニウム含有相を有するセラミック材料と
を含み、該ジルコニウム含有相が、酸化物、窒化物及びホウ化物からなる群より選択される、焼結された成形体。 - 基材に焼結されている、請求項1記載の焼結された複合成形体。
- 窒化物がその場で生成される、請求項1記載の焼結された複合成形体。
- cBNの体積%が約50%未満である、請求項1記載の焼結された複合成形体。
- cBNの体積%が約40%未満である、請求項4記載の焼結された複合成形体。
- cBNの粒径が約1〜約10ミクロンである、請求項1記載の焼結された複合成形体。
- ジルコニウム含有相が合計の体積%に基づいて約1〜約25体積%の範囲にある、請求項1記載の焼結された複合成形体。
- ジルコニウム含有相が合計の体積%に基づいて約10〜約15体積%の範囲にある、請求項7記載の焼結された複合成形体。
- セラミック材料が第4族元素の窒化物、ホウ化物及び炭化物、Al2O3、Si3N4並びにこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択される、請求項1記載の焼結された複合成形体。
- セラミック材料がケイ素窒化物、アルミニウム窒化物及びチタン窒化物並びにこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択された少なくとも1つのセラミック材料を含む、請求項1記載の焼結された複合成形体。
- ジルコニウム含有相がZrO2及びZrO並びにこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択される、請求項1記載の焼結された複合成形体。
- ジルコニウム酸化物の相が立方晶相、正方晶相及び単斜相並びにこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択される、請求項11記載の焼結された複合成形体。
- 約5〜約60体積%のcBN、少なくとも約1体積%のジルコニア及び他のセラミック材料を含む組成物を高温/高圧処理にさらす工程を含み、記載されるすべての体積%が高温/高圧処理の前の合計の体積%に基づいている、複合成形体の生産方法。
- 成形体を基材に結合させる工程をさらに含む、請求項13記載の方法。
- 基材がタングステン炭化物を含む、請求項14記載の方法。
- cBNの体積%が約50%未満である、請求項13記載の方法。
- cBNの体積%が約40%未満である、請求項16記載の方法。
