Abstract
Description
比較例1.リチウムイオン電池用3重セパレータ
PP(ポリプロピレン)/PE(ポリエチレン)/PPからなるリチウム二次電池用3重セパレータを用意した。前記セパレータの厚さは20umであり、気孔度は40%であり、気孔の大きさは0.03umであった。
2重量%のメタフェニルジアミン水溶液、及び0.1重量%の塩化トリメソイルを含むイソパラフィン溶液を用意した。
比較例1及び実施例1のセパレータを1×10cmの大きさで用意し、密閉された容器のエチレンカーボネート(EC)電解液に1cmの深さで浸漬して一定時間経過後の電解液の移動高さを測定し、下記表3に示した。
天然黒鉛がコーティングされた銅ホイルを負極として使用し、リチウム金属を正極として使用し、前記負極と正極との間に比較例1または実施例1のセパレータを介在させて、1M LiPF6 EC/EMC電解液を注入してリチウム二次電池を製造した。このような電池に対して充電性能をテストし、試験結果を図15に示した。

Claims (14)
- セパレータであって、
平面状の多孔性基材と、多孔性薄膜コーティング層とを備えてなり、
前記多孔性薄膜コーティング層が、前記多孔性基材の少なくとも一面に形成され、2つ以上のアミン基を有する多官能性アミン化合物と、2つ以上のアシルハライド基を有する芳香族化合物からなる多官能性アシルハライド化合物とが重合して形成された架橋ポリアミドを含んでなることを特徴とする、セパレータ。 - 前記多官能性アミン化合物が、メタフェニレンジアミン、パラフェニレンジアミン、ピペラジン、脂環式2級ジアミン、N,N’‐ジメチル‐1,3‐フェニレンジアミン、N,N’‐ジフェニルエチレンジアミン、ベンザチン及びキシレンジアミンのうち選択された1種のアミンまたは2種以上の混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のセパレータ。
- 前記多官能性アシルハライド化合物が、塩化トリメソイル、塩化イソフタロイル及び塩化テレフタロイルのうち選択された1種の芳香族アシルハライドまたは2種以上の混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のセパレータ。
- 前記平面状の多孔性基材が、ポリオレフィン系多孔性膜であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のセパレータ。
- 前記ポリオレフィン系多孔性膜が、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリブチレン及びポリペンテンからなる群より選択されたいずれか1つの高分子で形成されたことを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のセパレータ。
- 前記平面状の多孔性基材の厚さが5ないし50umであり、
前記平面状の多孔性基材の気孔の大きさ及び気孔度がそれぞれ、0.01ないし50um及び10ないし95%であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のセパレータ。 - 請求項1に記載のセパレータの製造方法であって、
2つ以上のアミン基を有する多官能性アミン化合物を水に溶解させて第1溶液を用意し、
2つ以上のアシルハライド基を有する芳香族化合物からなる多官能性アシルハライド化合物を有機溶媒に溶解させて第2溶液を用意する段階と、
平面状の多孔性基材の少なくとも一面に前記第1溶液と第2溶液を順次塗布して界面重合させる段階とを含んでなる、セパレータの製造方法。 - 前記多官能性アミン化合物が、メタフェニレンジアミン、パラフェニレンジアミン、ピペラジン、脂環式2級ジアミン、N,N’‐ジメチル‐1,3‐フェニレンジアミン、N,N’‐ジフェニルエチレンジアミン、ベンザチン及びキシレンジアミンのうち選択された1種のアミンまたは2種以上の混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のセパレータの製造方法。
- 前記多官能性アシルハライド化合物が、塩化トリメソイル、塩化イソフタロイル及び塩化テレフタロイルのうち選択された1種の芳香族アシルハライドまたは2種以上の混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のセパレータの製造方法。
- 前記有機溶媒が、ヘキサン、シクロヘキサン、ヘプタン、C8ないしC12のアルカン、ジクロロジフルオロメタン、トリクロロフルオロメタン、クロロジフルオロメタン、ジクロロテトラフルオロエタン及びトリクロロトリフルオロエタンのうち選択された1種の化合物または2種以上の混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のセパレータの製造方法。
- 前記平面状の多孔性基材が、ポリオレフィン系多孔性膜であることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のセパレータの製造方法。
- 前記ポリオレフィン系多孔性膜が、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリブチレン及びポリペンテンからなる群より選択されたいずれか1つの高分子で形成されたことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のセパレータの製造方法。
- 電気化学素子であって、
正極と、負極と、前記正極と前記負極との間に介在されたセパレータとを備えてなり、
前記セパレータが、請求項1〜6の何れか一項に記載のセパレータであることを特徴とする、電気化学素子。 - 前記電気化学素子がリチウム二次電池であることを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の電気化学素子。
