Description
PP(ポリプロピレン)/PE(ポリエチレン)/PP(ポリプロピレン)からなったリチウム二次電池用3重セパレータを用意した。上記セパレータの厚さは25μmであり、気孔度は40%であった。
pH 10の水酸化ナトリウム水溶液に溶解させた2重量%の4,4‐ジヒドロキシビフェノール水溶液、及び0.2重量%のトリメゾイルクロライドを含むイソパラフィン溶液を用意した。
上記実施例1の4,4‐ジヒドロキシビフェノールの代わりに、2,2‐ビス(4‐ヒドロキシフェニル)プロパンを使用したことを除いては、実施例1と同一の方法でポリエステルコーティングしたリチウムイオン電池用3重セパレータを製造した。ポリエステルコーティング層の厚さを測定した結果、0.3μmであった。
Claims (16)
- 電気化学素子用セパレータであって、
平面状の多孔性基材と、及び
架橋ポリエステルからなる多孔性薄膜コーティング層とを備えてなり、
前記多孔性薄膜コーティング層が、前記平面状の多孔性基材の少なくとも一面に存在してなるものであり、
前記多孔性薄膜コーティング層の厚さが、0.1μmないし0.3μmであることを特徴とする、電気化学素子用セパレータ。 - 前記架橋ポリエステルが、2つ以上のフェノール基を有する多官能性フェノール化合物と、2つ以上のアシルハライド基を有する芳香族化合物からなる多官能性アシルハライド化合物とが重合したものであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電気化学素子用セパレータ。
- 前記多官能性フェノール化合物が、4,4‐ジヒドロキシビフェノール、2,2‐ビフェノール、ビス(4‐ヒドロキシフェニル)メタン、2,2‐ビス(4‐ヒドロキシフェニル)プロパン、1,1‐ビス(4‐ヒドロキシフェニル)エタン、2,2‐ビス(4‐ヒドロキシ‐3‐メチルフェニル)プロパン、1,1‐ビス(4‐ヒドロキシフェニル)ヘプタン、2,2‐ビス(4‐ヒドロキシ‐3,5‐ジクロロフェニル)プロパン、2,2‐ビス(4‐ヒドロキシ‐2,5‐ジブロモフェニル)プロパン、ビス(4‐ヒドロキシフェニル)フェニルメタン、4,4‐ジヒドロキシフェニル‐1,1‐m‐ジイソプロピルベンゼン、4,4‐ジヒドロキシフェニル‐9,9‐フルオレン、2,2‐ビス(4‐ヒドロキシフェニル)ヘキサフルオロプロパン、4,4‐スルホニルジフェノール、4,4‐ジヒドロキシベンゾフェノン、4,4‐イソプロピリデンビス‐(2,6‐ジブロモフェノール)、4,4‐イソプロピリデンビス‐(2,6‐ジメチルフェノール)、4,4‐ヘキサフルオロイソプロピリデンビス‐(2,6‐ジクロロフェノール)、1,1,1‐トリス(4‐ヒドロキシフェニル)エタンの中から選ばれた1種の化合物又は2種以上の混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の電気化学素子用セパレータ。
- 前記多官能性アシルハライド化合物が、トリメゾイルクロライド、イソフタロイルクロライド、及びテレフタロイルクロライドの中から選ばれた1種の芳香族アシルハライド又は2種以上の混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の電気化学素子用セパレータ。
- 前記平面状の多孔性基材が、ポリオレフィン系多孔性膜であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電気化学素子用セパレータ。
- 前記ポリオレフィン系多孔性膜が、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリブチレン、及びポリペンテンからなる群より選択された何れか1つの高分子よりなることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の電気化学素子用セパレータ。
- 前記平面状の多孔性基材の厚さが、5μmないし50μmであり、
前記平面状の多孔性基材の気孔サイズ及び気孔度がそれぞれ、0.01μmないし50μmであり、及び10%ないし95%であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電気化学素子用セパレータ。 - 請求項1に記載の電気化学素子用セパレータの製造方法であって、2つ以上のフェノール基を有する多官能性フェノール化合物及び金属塩の塩基触媒を水に溶解させて第1溶液を用意するステップと、
2つ以上のアシルハライド基を有する芳香族化合物からなる多官能性アシルハライド化合物を有機溶媒に溶解させて第2溶液を用意するステップと、
平面状の多孔性基材の少なくとも一面に前記第1溶液及び前記第2溶液をそれぞれ塗布し、界面重合させるステップとを含んでなることを特徴とする、電気化学素子用セパレータの製造方法。 - 前記多官能性フェノール化合物が、4,4‐ジヒドロキシビフェノール、2,2‐ビフェノール、ビス(4‐ヒドロキシフェニル)メタン、2,2‐ビス(4‐ヒドロキシフェニル)プロパン、1,1‐ビス(4‐ヒドロキシフェニル)エタン、2,2‐ビス(4‐ヒドロキシ‐3‐メチルフェニル)プロパン、1,1‐ビス(4‐ヒドロキシフェニル)ヘプタン、2,2‐ビス(4‐ヒドロキシ‐3,5‐ジクロロフェニル)プロパン、2,2‐ビス(4‐ヒドロキシ‐2,5‐ジブロモフェニル)プロパン、ビス(4‐ヒドロキシフェニル)フェニルメタン、4,4‐ジヒドロキシフェニル‐1,1‐m‐ジイソプロピルベンゼン、4,4‐ジヒドロキシフェニル‐9,9‐フルオレン、2,2‐ビス(4‐ヒドロキシフェニル)ヘキサフルオロプロパン、4,4‐スルホニルジフェノール、4,4‐ジヒドロキシベンゾフェノン、4,4‐イソプロピリデンビス‐(2,6‐ジブロモフェノール)、4,4‐イソプロピリデンビス‐(2,6‐ジメチルフェノール)、4,4‐ヘキサフルオロイソプロピリデンビス‐(2,6‐ジクロロフェノール)、1,1,1‐トリス(4‐ヒドロキシフェニル)エタンの中から選ばれた1種の化合物又は2種以上の混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の電気化学素子用セパレータの製造方法。
- 前記金属塩の塩基触媒が、水酸化ナトリウム(NaOH)、水酸化カリウム(KOH)、炭酸ナトリウム(Na2CO3)、及び炭酸カリウム(K2CO3)の中から選ばれた1種の触媒又は2種以上の混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の電気化学素子用セパレータの製造方法。
- 前記多官能性アシルハライド化合物が、トリメゾイルクロライド、イソフタロイルクロライド、及びテレフタロイルクロライドの中から選ばれた1種の芳香族アシルハライド又は2種以上の混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の電気化学素子用セパレータの製造方法。
- 前記有機溶媒が、ヘキサン、シクロヘキサン、ヘプタン、C8ないしC12であるアルカン、ジクロロジフルオロメタン、トリクロロフルオロメタン、クロロジフルオロメタン、ジクロロテトラフルオロエタン、及びトリクロロトリフルオロエタンの中から選ばれた1種の化合物又は2種以上の混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の電気化学素子用セパレータの製造方法。
- 前記平面状の多孔性基材が、ポリオレフィン系多孔性膜であることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の電気化学素子用セパレータの製造方法。
- 前記ポリオレフィン系多孔性膜が、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリブチレン、及びポリペンテンからなる群より選択された何れか1つの高分子よりなるものであることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の電気化学素子用セパレータの製造方法。
- 電気化学素子であって、
正極と、負極と、及び前記正極と前記負極との間に介在されたセパレータとを備えてなり、
前記セパレータが、請求項1〜7の何れか一項に記載の電気化学素子用セパレータであることを特徴とする、電気化学素子。 - 前記電気化学素子が、リチウム二次電池であることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載の電気化学素子。
