Abstract
【解決手段】
潤滑剤組成物は、(a)有機モリブデン化合物と、(b)チア(ジ)アゾールから選択される1種以上の耐摩耗・極圧剤と、(c)ホスファイト、ホスフェート、ホスホネート、チオホスフェートおよびチオホスファイトから選択される、1種以上の含リン耐摩耗・極圧剤および/または含リン−硫黄耐摩耗・極圧剤とを含み、かつ、当該潤滑剤組成物中のモリブデンの質量含有率が90〜180ppmである。

Description
(a)有機モリブデン化合物と、
(b)チア(ジ)アゾールから選択される1種以上の耐摩耗・極圧剤と、
(c)ホスファイト、ホスフェート、ホスホネート、チオホスフェートおよびチオホスファイトから選択される、1種以上の含リン耐摩耗・極圧剤および/または含リン−硫黄耐摩耗・極圧剤と、
を含み、モリブデンの質量含有率が90〜350ppmとなる潤滑剤組成物である。
前記有機モリブデン錯体は、
(i)モノ−、ジ−もしくはトリ−グリセリド系または脂肪酸系の油脂と、
(ii)下記の式(I)で表されるアミン源と、
の反応で得られたものである。
下記の式(II)で表される少なくとも1種の化合物(a1)、および
下記の式(III)で表される少なくとも1種の化合物(a2)、
のうち、(a1)単独、(a2)単独、または(a1)と(a2)との混合物を含む。
本発明にかかる潤滑剤組成物は、油に可溶な有機モリブデン化合物であれば、どのような有機モリブデン化合物を含むものであってもよい。そのような有機モリブデン化合物として、特に、モリブデンジチオホスフェート、モリブデンジチオカルバメート、およびモリブデンカルボキシレート、モリブデンエステル、モリブデンアミド等の様々な有機モリブデン錯体が挙げられるが、必ずしもこれらに限定されない。有機モリブデン錯体は、例えば、酸化モリブデンまたはアンモニウム=モリブデートと、油脂、グリセリド、脂肪酸または脂肪酸誘導体(エステル、アミン、アミド等)との反応で得られる。
(i)モノ−、ジ−もしくはトリ−グリセリド系または脂肪酸系の油脂と、
(ii)下記の式(I)で表されるアミン源と、
(iii)当該有機モリブデン錯体中のモリブデンが0.1〜20.0重量%となる量の、三酸化モリブデンおよびモリブデート(好ましくはアンモニウム=モリブデート)から選択されるモリブデン源と、
の反応で得られたものであってもよい。
下記の式(II)で表される少なくとも1種の化合物(a1)、および
下記の式(III)で表される少なくとも1種の化合物(a2)、
のうち、(a1)単独、(a2)単独、または(a1)と(a2)との混合物を含む。
(i)モノ−、ジ−もしくはトリ−グリセリド系または脂肪酸系の油脂と、
(ii)ジエタノールアミンまたは2−(2−アミノエチル)アミノエタノールと、
(iii)当該有機モリブデン錯体中のモリブデンが0.1〜20.0重量%となる量の、三酸化モリブデンおよびモリブデート(好ましくはアンモニウム=モリブデート)から選択されるモリブデン源と、
の反応で調製されたものである。
下記の式(IV)で表される少なくとも1種の化合物(a1’)、および
下記の式(V)で表される少なくとも1種の化合物(a2’)、
のうち、(a1’)単独、(a2’)単独、または(a1’)と(a2’)との混合物を含む。
チア(ジ)アゾールは、硫黄原子と窒素原子の両方を有する五員環の化合物である。例えば、ベンゾチアゾールは、特定の種類のチア(ジ)アゾールを指す。本明細書において「チア(ジ)アゾール」という用語は、五員環に1個の硫黄原子と1個の窒素原子を有する環式化合物の他にも、五員環に1個の硫黄原子と2個の窒素原子を有するチアジアゾールも包含する。
本発明にかかる潤滑剤組成物中の含リン化合物は、ホスフェート、ホスファイト、ホスホネート等の耐摩耗・極圧剤である。「ホスフェート」という用語は、リン酸、リン酸のモノ−、ジ−およびトリ−エステル(例えば、アルキルホスフェート等)、ならびにリン酸の塩(例えば、アミンリン酸塩等)を指す。「ホスファイト」という用語は、亜リン酸、亜リン酸のモノ−、ジ−およびトリ−エステル(例えば、アルキルホスファイト等)、ならびに亜リン酸の塩(例えば、アミン亜リン酸塩等)を指す。「ホスホネート」という用語は、ホスホン酸、ホスホン酸のモノ−、ジ−およびトリ−エステル(例えば、アルキルホスホネート等)、ならびにホスホン酸の塩(例えば、アミンホスホン酸塩等)を指す。本発明で使用されるリン−硫黄系の耐摩耗・極圧剤は、(モノもしくはジ)チオホスフェートおよび/または(モノもしくはジ)チオホスファイトである。「チオホスフェート」という用語は、チオリン酸、チオリン酸のエステル、チオリン酸の塩、およびジチオホスフェートを包含する。「チオホスファイト」という用語は、チオ亜リン酸、チオ亜リン酸のエステル、チオ亜リン酸の塩、およびジチオホスファイトを包含する。
チオリン酸のエステルおよびチオ亜リン酸のエステルとして、例えば、アンモニア等の含窒素化合物もしくはアミン、または酸化亜鉛もしくは塩化亜鉛を反応させることによって得られるものが挙げられる。
本発明にかかる組成物は、その時々の用途に応じて、潤滑剤基油としてあらゆる種類の動物油および/または植物油および/または合成油および/または天然鉱油を含んでいてもよい。
本発明にかかる潤滑剤組成物は、さらに、その時々の用途に応じて、あらゆる種類の添加剤を含んでいてもよい。そのような添加剤として、例えば、アミン系またはフェノール系の酸化防止剤(例えば、ジフェニルアミン、少なくとも1つのオルト位がアルキル基で置換されたフェノール等)、清浄剤(例えば、スルホネート等)などが挙げられる。
調製される潤滑剤組成物について、後述の表1に、その質量組成、およびシンクロナイザーの摩耗、シンクロナイザーのブロッキング、フレーキング等に関する性能を示す。
以下の条件でフレーキング試験を実行した。
BCFP Sermes ベンチ:Renault社のギアボックスJR5-125と、ディファレンシャル用の14x63二次シャフト8200280045とリング8200280134を1ペアと、28x37一次シャフト8200107846と3速アイドラピニオン7700114048を3ペアと、を備えたベンチ
オイル:2.3リットルのオイル、オイルの温度110℃
入力トルク:148mN
主速度:3,000rpm
試験時間:142時間を3回(142時間ごとに、一次シャフト、3速アイドラピニオンおよびころ軸受を変更)
フレーキング面の評価:
426時間後に、ピニオン/ディファレンシャル用のリングのペアの最終スコアを評価し、142時間ごとに、3ペアの28x37一次シャフト/3速アイドラピニオンのうちの対応する1ペアを評価する。上記部品のスコア結果に基づいて、合格(十分なスコア)または不合格(過剰なフレーキング面)を決める。
以下の条件(SYNC−40手順)で、コーン・リングのペアを用いてシンクロナイザーのブロッキング試験を実行した。
54mmの真鍮製のねじ付きリング(例えば、型番7700 708 152、7700 869 430等)、およびギアボックスJXXのアイドラピニオンの、ブラスト処理・研磨処理された浸炭窒化鋼製のコーン(例えば、型番7700 867 612、7700 740 880等)
オイル:250mlのオイル、オイルレベルはピニオンとリングとの間
試験機械SAE2/Aのシンクロナイザー用アダプタSAE/2
I=0.155m2/kg
N=300rpm
F=60daN
T=6秒(2回の連続する制動動作間の連続時間)
n=10,125回のギア変更サイクル(21時間)
以下の条件(SYNC−13手順、SAE 2−A手順)で、コーン・リングのペアを用いてシンクロナイザーの耐摩耗性試験を実行した。
54mmの真鍮製のねじ付きリング(例えば、型番7700 708 152、7700 869 430等)、およびギアボックスJXXのアイドラピニオンの、ブラスト処理・研磨処理された浸炭窒化鋼製のコーン(例えば、型番7700 867 612、7700 740 880等)
オイル:125mlのオイル、オイルレベルはリングの下部分
試験機械SAE2/Aのシンクロナイザー用アダプタSAE/2
I=0.155m2/kg
N=600rpm
F=60daN
T=3.5秒(2回の連続する制動動作間の連続時間)
n=20,000回のギア変更サイクル(20時間)
後述の表におけるオイルAおよびBが、本発明にかかるオイルである。後述の表におけるオイルCおよびDは、水に対して敏感な含ホウ素オイルである。
オイルAおよびBは、シンクロナイザーの摩耗に関して含ホウ素オイルに匹敵する性能レベルを示し、かつ、ブロッキング試験およびフレーキング試験についても同様に合格である。
Claims (14)
- 潤滑剤組成物であって、
(a)有機モリブデン化合物と、
(b)チア(ジ)アゾールから選択される1種以上の耐摩耗・極圧剤と、
(c)ホスファイト、ホスフェート、ホスホネート、チオホスフェートおよびチオホスファイトから選択される、1種以上の含リン耐摩耗・極圧剤および/または含リン−硫黄耐摩耗・極圧剤と、
を含み、当該潤滑剤組成物中のモリブデンの質量含有率が90〜180ppmである、潤滑剤組成物。 - 請求項1に記載の潤滑剤組成物において、当該潤滑剤組成物中のモリブデンの質量含有率が100〜200ppm(好ましくは140〜180ppm)である、潤滑剤組成物。
- 請求項1または2に記載の潤滑剤組成物において、当該潤滑剤組成物中のリンの質量含有率が500〜700ppm(好ましくは520〜650ppm)である、潤滑剤組成物。
- 請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の潤滑剤組成物において、耐摩耗・極圧剤(c)として、少なくとも1種のチオホスフェート[好ましくは少なくとも1種のジチオホスフェート(より好ましくは少なくとも1種のアミンジチオホスフェート)]を含む、潤滑剤組成物。
- 請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の潤滑剤組成物において、耐摩耗・極圧剤(b)として、少なくとも1種のチアジアゾール(好ましくは少なくとも1種のジメルカプトチアジアゾール)を含む、潤滑剤組成物。
- 請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の潤滑剤組成物において、チアゾールを0.35〜1質量%(好ましくはジメルカプトチアジアゾールを0.35〜1質量%)含む、潤滑剤組成物。
- 請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の潤滑剤組成物において、有機モリブデン化合物(a)として、少なくとも1種の有機モリブデン錯体を含み、
前記有機モリブデン錯体は、
(i)モノ−、ジ−もしくはトリ−グリセリド系または脂肪酸系の油脂と、
(ii)下記の式(I)で表されるアミン源と、
(iii)当該有機モリブデン錯体中のモリブデンが0.1〜20.0重量%となる量の、三酸化モリブデンおよびモリブデート(好ましくはアンモニウム=モリブデート)から選択されるモリブデン源と、
の反応で得られたものである、潤滑剤組成物。 - 請求項7に記載の潤滑剤組成物において、アミン源(ii)が、ジエタノールアミンまたは2−(2−アミノエチル)アミノエタノールである、潤滑剤組成物。
- 請求項7または8に記載の潤滑剤組成物において、油脂(i)が、炭素数4〜28の脂肪酸のモノ−、ジ−もしくはトリ−グリセリド(好ましくは炭素数8〜18の脂肪酸のモノ−、ジ−もしくはトリ−グリセリド)であるか、または炭素数4〜28の脂肪酸(好ましくは炭素数8〜18の脂肪酸)である、潤滑剤組成物。
- 請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載の潤滑剤組成物の、ギアボックス(特に自動車のギアボックス)を潤滑するための使用。
- 請求項13に記載の使用において、ギアボックスがマニュアルギアボックスである使用。
