Description
図1を参照すれば、従来のタッチスクリーンは、指の接点を電気的に感知する。指は、電気が流れることができる一種の導体として、指が電極に近く接近すれば、電極と指との間に電荷が集まることができる。電荷が集まりながら、指と電極との間の静電容量または電気容量を測定することができるのに、この現象を利用して指のタッチを間接的に感知することができる。
本発明は、抵抗係数が比較的大きい電極を使用しても面積の制限が少ないタッチスクリーンを具現することができるタッチパネルセンサーを提供する。
Claims (19)
- 身体の一部の接触位置を感知するためのタッチパネルセンサーにおいて、
基板と、
前記基板の上に形成されて前記身体の一部の接近によって静電容量が変化する抵抗電極を備える抵抗電極パターン部と、
前記抵抗電極より低い抵抗係数を有する材質で形成され、前記抵抗電極の上に形成される信号電極を備える信号電極パターン部と、
を備えるタッチパネルセンサー。 - 前記信号電極は、金属材質で形成される請求項1に記載のタッチパネルセンサー。
- 前記抵抗電極は、導伝性透明材質で形成される請求項1に記載のタッチパネルセンサー。
- 前記信号電極は、前記抵抗電極の幅より狭く形成される請求項1に記載のタッチパネルセンサー。
- 前記抵抗電極パターン部は、
前記基板の一面に並んでいるように提供される第1の電極パターンと、
前記基板上で前記第1の電極パターンと同じ前記一面に前記第1の電極パターンと交差するように並んでいるように形成され、前記第1の電極パターンと電気的に分離して、前記第1の電極パターンと離隔されるように形成された複数の透明連結部を備える第2の電極パターンと、を備え、
前記信号電極パターン部は、一連の前記複数の透明連結部の上に形成される低抵抗のラインを備え、前記低抵抗のラインは、前記第2の電極パターンの全体的な抵抗を減少させる請求項1に記載のタッチパネルセンサー。 - 前記第1の電極パターンと前記信号電極パターン部の間には、絶縁層または絶縁パターンが形成されて前記第1の電極パターン及び前記信号電極パターン部を電気的に分離させる請求項5に記載のタッチパネルセンサー。
- 前記第1の電極パターンは、一方向に沿って一列に提供される複数の拡張部と、前記複数の拡張部の間を連結する複数のブリッジ部と、を備える請求項5に記載のタッチパネルセンサー。
- 前記ブリッジ部は、前記低抵抗のラインの上部または下部に位置された状態に積層される請求項7に記載のタッチパネルセンサー。
- 前記信号電極パターン部は、直線、規則的や不規則的な曲線、または規則的や不規則的な折曲線の形状に形成される請求項1に記載のタッチパネルセンサー。
- 前記信号電極パターン部は、前記抵抗電極パターン部の上に互いに分離した状態に配列されて前記抵抗電極パターン部の全体を電気的に連結する請求項1に記載のタッチパネルセンサー。
- 前記信号電極パターン部は、不規則的な配列に形成される請求項10に記載のタッチパネルセンサー。
- 前記ディスプレーに対向する前記信号電極パターン部の上面に形成される光吸収部をさらに備える請求項1に記載のタッチパネルセンサー。
- 複数の前記信号電極が電気的に連結されてグループ化されて提供される請求項1に記載のタッチパネルセンサー。
- 前記抵抗電極は、前記基板上で一方向に配列されるように複数個が提供されて、各々の前記抵抗電極は、互いに隣接し、電気的に分離した第1のノードパターン及び第2のノードパターンを備え、
一列の前記抵抗電極のうち、隣接する抵抗電極で第1のノードパターン及び第2のノードパターンの抵抗費が異なる請求項1に記載のタッチパネルセンサー。 - 前記第1のノードパターンは、一列の前記抵抗電極のうち、隣接する抵抗電極の他の第1のノードパターンと電気的に連結され、一連の順序に徐徐に面積または厚さが増加し、
前記第2のノードパターンも一列の前記抵抗電極のうち、隣接する抵抗電極の他の第2のノードパターンと電気的に連結され、一連の順序に徐徐に面積または厚さが減少する請求項14に記載のタッチパネルセンサー。 - 前記抵抗電極は、前記基板の上に一方向に並んで配列され、各々の前記抵抗電極の幅が前記一方向に漸次的に変化する請求項1に記載のタッチパネルセンサー。
- 身体の一部の接触位置を感知するためのタッチパネルセンサーの製造方法において、
絶縁性基板の上に前記身体の一部の接近によって静電容量が変化する抵抗電極パターン部を形成する段階と、
前記抵抗電極パターン部より低い抵抗を有する材質を利用して前記抵抗電極パターン部の上に信号電極パターン部を形成する段階と、
を備えるタッチパネルセンサーの製造方法。 - 前記信号電極パターン部は、金属材質で形成される請求項17に記載のタッチパネルセンサーの製造方法。
- 前記抵抗電極パターン部は、導伝性透明材質で形成される請求項17に記載のタッチパネルセンサーの製造方法。
