Abstract
Description

本発明は、低レベルの金属を含む触媒組成物に関する。より詳しくは、本発明は、酸性混合金属酸化物担体に担持されたニッケル−レニウム触媒に関する。この酸性混合金属酸化物担体は、遷移アルミナを含む。本発明の触媒は、比較的低レベルの環状成分を含むエチレンアミン組成物を生成するためのアミノ交換(transamination)反応に使用できる。

例1A〜1Uのいずれにおいても、EDAからDETAへのアミノ交換に、アルミナ−シリカ担体上にNi 6.8重量%、Re 1.8重量%を含む触媒組成物を用いた。例1Wに用いた触媒組成物は、アルミナ−シリカ担体上にNi 6.8重量%、Re 0.9重量%を含んでいた。例1Xに用いた触媒組成物は、アルミナ−シリカ担体上にNi 6.8重量%、Re 0.5重量%を含んでいた。触媒の担体組成、表面積、形状及び直径サイズは、表IIに示したようにさまざまであった。触媒組成物は、管形反応器中で前記方法によって試験した。
触媒組成物2A、2H及び2Iは、本発明のいくつかの態様に従って、実施例1に記載した方法によって製造した。
態様1.(a)遷移アルミナ及び第2の金属の酸化物を含む酸性混合金属酸化物を含む担体部分と(b)ニッケル及びレニウムを含む触媒部分とを含んでなり、前記第2の金属の酸化物がアルミナの重量百分率より小さい重量百分率を有し、前記触媒部分が触媒組成物の25重量%又はそれ以下であり、前記触媒部分がニッケルを、触媒組成物の総重量に基づき、2〜20重量%の量で含み、且つ前記触媒部分にホウ素が存在しない触媒組成物。
態様2.前記遷移アルミナがδアルミナを含み、且つ、任意的に、γ、θ又はαアルミナの1種又はそれ以上を更に含むことができる態様1に記載の触媒組成物。
態様3.前記遷移アルミナがθアルミナを含み、且つ、任意的に、γ又はαアルミナの1種又はそれ以上を更に含むことができる態様1に記載の触媒組成物。
態様4.前記第2の金属の酸化物が珪素、ランタン、マグネシウム、ジルコニウム、ホウ素、チタン、ニオブ、タングステン及びセリウムから選ばれる態様1に記載の触媒組成物。
態様5.前記第2の金属の酸化物が珪素を含む態様4に記載の触媒組成物。
態様6.前記担体部分が前記第2の金属の酸化物を、担体部分の重量に基づき、5重量%〜50重量%未満の範囲の量で含む態様1に記載の触媒組成物。
態様7.前記担体部分が直径1/8インチ(3.175mm)若しくはそれ以下の押出物;又は直径3mm若しくはそれ以下の球状体;又は直径1/8インチ(3.175mm)若しくはそれ以下のトリローブである態様1に記載の触媒組成物。
態様8.前記担体部分が外面を有し、且つ前記触媒部分が担体部分の外面に外殻として付着されている態様1に記載の触媒組成物。
態様9.ニッケル及びレニウムが触媒部分に3:1〜14:1の範囲の重量比で存在する態様1に記載の触媒組成物。
態様10.0.5:1又はそれ以下の促進剤/ニッケル重量比で存在する選択性促進剤を更に含む態様1に記載の触媒組成物。
態様11.反応体化合物と態様1に記載の触媒組成物とを接触させる工程を含んでなり、反応体化合物をアミノ交換してアミノ化生成物にする、反応体化合物のアミノ転化方法。
態様12.前記反応体化合物がEDAであり且つ前記アミノ化生成物がDETAである態様11に記載の方法。
態様13.DETAがPIPを含む生成物混合物中に存在し、DETA対PIP比が、EDA転化率25%において9:1〜13:1の範囲である態様12に記載の方法。
態様14.前記反応体化合物がEDAであり且つ前記アミノ化生成物がTETAである態様11に記載の方法。
態様15.TETAがPIPを含む生成物混合物中に存在し、TETA対PIP比が、EDA転化率25%において0.75:1〜約1.5:1の範囲である態様14に記載の方法。
Claims (15)
- (a)遷移アルミナ及び第2の金属の酸化物を含む酸性混合金属酸化物を含む担体部分と(b)ニッケル及びレニウムを含む触媒部分とを含んでなり、前記第2の金属の酸化物がアルミナの重量百分率より小さい重量百分率を有し、前記触媒部分が触媒組成物の25重量%又はそれ以下であり、前記触媒部分がニッケルを、触媒組成物の総重量に基づき、2〜20重量%の量で含み、且つ前記触媒部分にホウ素が存在しない触媒組成物。
- 前記遷移アルミナがδアルミナを含み、且つ、任意的に、γ、θ又はαアルミナの1種又はそれ以上を更に含むことができる請求項1に記載の触媒組成物。
- 前記遷移アルミナがθアルミナを含み、且つ、任意的に、γ又はαアルミナの1種又はそれ以上を更に含むことができる請求項1に記載の触媒組成物。
- 前記第2の金属の酸化物が珪素、ランタン、マグネシウム、ジルコニウム、ホウ素、チタン、ニオブ、タングステン及びセリウムから選ばれる請求項1に記載の触媒組成物。
- 前記第2の金属の酸化物が珪素を含む請求項4に記載の触媒組成物。
- 前記担体部分が前記第2の金属の酸化物を、担体部分の重量に基づき、5重量%〜50重量%未満の範囲の量で含む請求項1に記載の触媒組成物。
- 前記担体部分が直径1/8インチ(3.175mm)若しくはそれ以下の押出物;又は直径3mm若しくはそれ以下の球状体;又は直径1/8インチ(3.175mm)若しくはそれ以下のトリローブである請求項1に記載の触媒組成物。
- 前記担体部分が外面を有し、且つ前記触媒部分が担体部分の外面に外殻として付着されている請求項1に記載の触媒組成物。
- ニッケル及びレニウムが触媒部分に3:1〜14:1の範囲の重量比で存在する請求項1に記載の触媒組成物。
- 0.5:1又はそれ以下の促進剤/ニッケル重量比で存在する選択性促進剤を更に含む請求項1に記載の触媒組成物。
- 反応体化合物と請求項1に記載の触媒組成物とを接触させる工程を含んでなり、反応体化合物をアミノ交換してアミノ化生成物にする、反応体化合物のアミノ転化方法。
- 前記反応体化合物がEDAであり且つ前記アミノ化生成物がDETAである請求項11に記載の方法。
- DETAがPIPを含む生成物混合物中に存在し、DETA対PIP比が、EDA転化率25%において9:1〜13:1の範囲である請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記反応体化合物がEDAであり且つ前記アミノ化生成物がTETAである請求項11に記載の方法。
- TETAがPIPを含む生成物混合物中に存在し、TETA対PIP比が、EDA転化率25%において0.75:1〜約1.5:1の範囲である請求項14に記載の方法。
