Abstract
【解決手段】エンジンの吸気経路中に備えられる合成樹脂製のレゾネーターである。これを構成する空気室を、底面部とこの底面部を巡る周回壁部4bとを備えた第一の箱構成体4のこの周回壁部4bと、底面部5aとこの底面部を巡る周回壁部とを備えた第二の箱構成体5のこの周回壁部5bとを突き合わせ溶着させて構成させている。第一の箱構成体4の周回壁部4bの上端部40には周回溝41が形成され、第二の箱構成体5の周回壁部5bの上端部50には前記突き合わせ時に周回溝41に納められて周回溝41の溝底41eに溶着される周回突部51が形成されている。第一の箱構成体4の周回壁部4bにおけるその外壁面43と周回溝41との間にある上端面45bが、その内壁面44と前記周回溝41との間にある上端面45aよりも上方に位置されている。

第一の箱構成体の周回壁部におけるその外壁面と前記周回溝との間にある上端面が、その内壁面と前記周回溝との間にある上端面よりも上方に位置されるようになっているものとした。

Claims (4)
- エンジンの吸気経路中に備えられる合成樹脂製のレゾネーターであって、
これを構成する空気室を、底面部とこの底面部を巡る周回壁部とを備えた第一の箱構成体のこの周回壁部と、底面部とこの底面部を巡る周回壁部とを備えた第二の箱構成体のこの周回壁部とを突き合わせ溶着させて構成させており、
第一の箱構成体の周回壁部の上端部には周回溝が形成され、第二の箱構成体の周回壁部の上端部には前記突き合わせ時に前記周回溝に納められて周回溝の溝底に溶着される周回突部が形成されていると共に、
第一の箱構成体の周回壁部におけるその外壁面と前記周回溝との間にある上端面が、その内壁面と前記周回溝との間にある上端面よりも上方に位置されるようになっていることを特徴とするレゾネーター。 - 第一の箱構成体の周回溝は、この第一の箱構成体の内側に位置される一方溝壁側に最深部を有し、この最深部と他方溝壁間にこの他方溝壁に近づくに連れて周回溝を浅くする傾斜底面を有していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のレゾネーター。
- 第一の箱構成体の周回壁部と第二の箱構成体の周回壁部との突き合わせ時に、周回突部と周回溝における第一の箱構成体の内側に位置される一方溝壁との間に空隙が形成されるようになっていることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載のレゾネーター。
- 第一の箱構成体の周回壁部におけるその内壁面と周回溝との間の距離が、その外壁面と周回溝との間の距離よりも小さくなっていることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3のいずれか1項に記載のレゾネーター。
