Abstract
【解決手段】回転可能に固定されたほぼO字形のガントリ・リング11を備えるX線スキャン画像化装置であって、このガントリ・リングの一端は移動台車12、天井、床面、壁面、または患者支持テーブルなどの支持構造体に片持ち梁形式で接続されている。環状のガントリが、回転可能に固定された状態で維持され、ガントリの内側で画像化される対象物の周囲を連続的または段階的に回転できるX線画像スキャン装置を保持している。

- ほぼO字形のガントリ・リングと、
支持構造体と、
前記ガントリ・リングを前記支持構造体に片持ち梁形式で固定するとともに、このガントリ・リングを前記支持構造体に対して位置決めするリング位置決めユニットと、を備えている画像化装置。 - 請求項1において、前記リング位置決めユニットが、前記ガントリ・リングを前記支持構造体に近づく方向または前記支持構造体から離れる方向に並進させることによって位置決めする画像化装置。
- 請求項1において、前記リング位置決めユニットが、前記ガントリ・リングを前記支持構造体に対して垂直方向に並進させることによって位置決めする画像化装置。
- 請求項1において、前記リング位置決めユニットが、前記ガントリ・リングを前記支持構造体に対して横方向に並進させることによって位置決めする画像化装置。
- 請求項1において、前記リング位置決めユニットが、前記ガントリ・リングを少なくとも1つの軸を中心として回転させることによって位置決めする画像化装置。
- 請求項1において、前記リング位置決めユニットが、前記ガントリ・リングを、直交する3つの軸に沿って並進させることによって位置決めし、さらに少なくとも1つの軸を中心として回転させる画像化装置。
- 請求項1において、前記支持構造体が移動式の支持構造体を備えている画像化装置。
- 請求項1において、前記支持構造体が台車を備えている画像化装置。
- 請求項8において、前記台車が移動式台車である画像化装置。
- 請求項1において、前記支持構造体が、床面、天井、および壁面の少なくとも1つを含んでいる画像化装置。
- 請求項1において、前記支持構造体が、画像化しようとする対象物を支持するテーブルを備えている画像化装置。
- 請求項1において、画像化システムがX線画像化システムを備えている画像化装置。
- 請求項12において、前記ガントリが、X線源およびこのX線源と対向する検出器アレイを備えている画像化装置。
- 請求項13において、前記X線源または前記検出器アレイの少なくとも一方が、前記ガントリの内側周りに回転可能である画像化装置。
- 請求項14において、前記X線源または前記検出器アレイの少なくとも一方が、前記ガントリの内側周りを少なくとも360°回転可能である画像化装置。
- 請求項1において、対象物の二次元X線画像を取得するように動作可能である画像化装置。
- 請求項1において、対象物の三次元コンピュータ断層撮影X線画像を取得するように動作可能である画像化装置。
- 請求項1において、前記ほぼO字形であるガントリの中央開口が、この開口内に人間の患者を位置決めするように構成されている画像化装置。
- 請求項1において、さらに、前記位置決めユニットを制御して前記ガントリをユーザの定める位置および方向に移動させる制御システムを有している画像化装置。
- 請求項18において、前記制御システムが、格納されている位置決め情報に基づいて前記位置決めユニットを制御する画像化装置。
- 請求項19において、さらに、前記支持構造体に対する前記ガントリの位置を決定するための位置フィードバック機構を備えている画像化装置。
- リング位置決めユニットによって片持ち梁形式で支持構造体に取り付けられたほぼO字形のガントリを有する画像化システムを用いて、対象物を画像化する方法であって、
前記ほぼO字形のガントリの中央開口内に対象物を位置決めすること、
前記リング位置決めユニットを操作して、前記ガントリを前記支持構造体に対して所定の位置および向きに位置決めすること、
対象物の画像を取得すること、を含んでいる方法。 - 請求項22において、前記リング位置決めユニットが、前記ガントリ・リングを前記支持構造体に近づく方向または前記支持構造体から離れる方向に並進させることによって位置決めする方法。
- 請求項22において、前記リング位置決めユニットが、前記ガントリ・リングを前記支持構造体に対して垂直方向に並進させることによって位置決めする方法。
- 請求項22において、前記リング位置決めユニットが、前記ガントリ・リングを前記支持構造体に対して横方向に並進させることによって位置決めする方法。
- 請求項22において、前記リング位置決めユニットが、前記ガントリ・リングを少なくとも1つの軸を中心として回転させることによって位置決めする方法。
- 請求項22において、前記リング位置決めユニットが、前記ガントリ・リングを、直交する3つの軸に沿って並進させ、さらに少なくとも1つの軸を中心として回転させることによって位置決めする方法。
- ほぼO字形のガントリ・リングであって、このガントリ・リング内に位置する対象物の二次元または三次元の画像を得るための放射源および検出器アレイを有するガントリ・リングと、
前記ガントリ・リングを片持ち梁形式で支持する移動式支持体と、を備えているX線画像化装置。 - 請求項1において、さらに、前記ガントリ・リングを前記移動式支持体に取り付けるとともに、このガントリ・リングを前記移動式支持体に対して動かすためのリング位置決めユニットを備えている画像化装置。
- ほぼO字形のガントリ・リングと、
前記ガントリ・リングを片持ち梁形式で支持する手段と、
前記ガントリ・リングを前記支持手段に対して位置決めする手段と、を備えている画像化装置。
