Abstract
Description
測定は、別に記載がない限り、23±2℃の環境温度および50±10%の相対空気湿度で実施される。吸水性ポリマー粒子は、測定前に良く混和する。
0.3psi(2070Pa)の圧力負荷下での膨潤されたゲル層の透過性は、EP−A−0640330中の記載と同様に、高吸収性のポリマーからなる膨潤したゲル層のゲル層透過性として測定され、この場合上記の特許出願明細書第19頁および図8に記載の装置は、ガラスフリット(40)がもはや使用されず、プランジャー(39)が円筒体(37)と同様のプラスチック材料からなり、今や全載置面にわたって均一に分布するように21個の同じ大きさの孔を含むように十分に変更した。測定の方法および評価は、EP−A0640330号に対して不変のままである。通過流量は、自動的に捕捉される。
SFC(cm3s/g]=(Fg(t=0)×L0)/(d×A×WP)
上記式中、Fg(t=0)は、g/秒でのNaCl溶液の流量であり、これは、流量測定のデータFg(t)の線形の回帰分析に基づいてt=0に対する外挿法によって得られ、L0は、cmでのゲル層の厚さであり、dは、g/cm3でのNaCl溶液の比重であり、Aは、cm2でのゲル層の面積であり、かつWPは、dyn/cm2でのゲル層上の静水圧力である。
吸水性ポリマー粒子の製造
水と、50質量%の苛性ソーダ液と、アクリル酸との連続的な混合によって、38.8質量%のアクリル酸/アクリル酸ナトリウム溶液が製造され、その中和度は71.3モル%であった。該モノマー溶液の固体含有率は、38.8質量%であった。該モノマー溶液を、それらの成分の混合の後に熱交換器によって連続的に冷却した。
過酸化水素(1トンのモノマー溶液当たりに1.03kg(0.25質量%))、
ペルオキソ二硫酸ナトリウム(1トンのモノマー溶液当たりに3.10kg(15質量%))、並びに
アスコルビン酸(1トンのモノマー溶液当たりに1.05kg(1質量%))。
20t/hのモノマー溶液
40kg/hのポリエチレングリコール−400−ジアクリレート
82.6kg/hの過酸化水素溶液/ペルオキソ二硫酸ナトリウム溶液
21kg/hのアスコルビン酸溶液
架橋剤と開始剤の添加点の間で、モノマー溶液を窒素によって不活性化した。
7.5t/hの吸水性ポリマー粒子(ベースポリマー)
308.25kg/hの後架橋剤溶液
引き続き、NARA−パドル式乾燥器(GMF Gouda社、Waddinxveen,NL)中で150℃で60分間乾燥させ、後架橋させた。
混合物Iと小粒Aとからなる質量比4:1の均質な混合物を製造した(混合物II)。
実施例13〜16
混合物Iと小粒(小粒A及び小粒Bからの混合物)とからなる質量比2:1の均質な混合物を製造した(混合物IV)。
Claims (16)
- 吸水性ポリマー粒子の分級法であってポリマー粒子がn個の粒度分級物に分離され、かつnが1より大きい整数である方法において、少なくともn個の篩いを使用し、かつn個の篩いのメッシュ幅が生成物流方向で減少することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、nが2より大きいことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の方法において、少なくとも(n+1)個の篩いを使用することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1から3までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、生成物流方向で続けて生ずる少なくとも2つの篩別分級物を、1つの粒度分級物にまとめ、その際、前記の篩別分級物が生ずる篩いのメッシュ幅が、それぞれ少なくとも50μmだけ異なることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、生成物流方向に最初に生ずる少なくとも2つの篩別分級物を、1つの粒度分級物にまとめることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、生成物流方向で最初に生ずる少なくとも2つの篩別分級物を、1つの粒度分級物にまとめ、その際、前記の篩別分級物が生ずる篩いのメッシュ幅が、それぞれ少なくとも500μmだけ異なることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1から6までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、n個の篩いを有する少なくとも1つの篩別機を使用することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、吸水性ポリマー粒子が、篩別の間に、少なくとも40℃の温度を有することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1から8までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、減圧下で分級させることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、分級に際しての吸水性ポリマー粒子の1時間あたりの流量が、1m2当たりに少なくとも100kgであることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1から10までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、吸水性ポリマー粒子が、篩別の間に、ガス流によって流通されることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項11に記載の方法において、該ガス流が40〜120℃の温度を有することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項11又は12に記載の方法において、該ガス流が、5g/kg未満の水蒸気含有率を有することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1から13までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、吸水性ポリマー粒子が、水性モノマー溶液の重合によって得られることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1から14までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、吸水性ポリマー粒子が、少なくとも50モル%までが、少なくとも部分的に中和された重合されたアクリル酸を含有することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1から15までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、吸水性ポリマー粒子が、少なくとも15g/gの遠心保持能力を有することを特徴とする方法。
