Description

Claims (11)
- 乾燥、粉砕および少なくとも1種の回転式ふるい機を用いての分級を含む、
a)少なくとも部分的に中和されていてよい、少なくとも1種のエチレン性不飽和酸基含有モノマー、
b)少なくとも1種の架橋剤、
c)少なくとも1種の開始剤、
d)場合によっては、a)で挙げられたモノマーと共重合可能な1種またはそれ以上のエチレン性不飽和モノマー、および
e)場合によっては、1種またはそれ以上の水溶性ポリマー
を含有するモノマー溶液またはモノマー懸濁液を重合することによる、吸水性ポリマー粒子の製造方法において、
分級のために使用される回転式ふるい機が、ふるいの下に弾性ボールを備えたベーストレイから成る少なくとも1種のボールノック式クリーナーを備えており、前記ボールは当初直径xを有し、かつ前記ベーストレイは、最大粒径yを有する粒子のための通過口を有しており、この際、yはxよりも小さく、かつ、前記ベーストレイの下に位置し、最大粒径zを有する粒子のための通過口を有する捕捉装置を用いて、前記ベーストレイの通過口を通過した摩耗した弾性ボールを吸水性ポリマー粒子と分離し、ここで、zはyよりも小さく、かつ、前記捕捉装置が平行に配置された管状磁石を有する磁気分離装置であることを特徴とする、前記吸水性ポリマー粒子の製造方法。 - 表面後架橋された吸水性ポリマー粒子を、回転式ふるい機中で分級する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 弾性ボールの当初粒径xが、15〜40mmである、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 弾性ボールが天然ゴム、シリコーン変性エチレン−プロピレン−ジエン−ゴム、ニトリル−ブタジエン−ゴム、スチレン−ブタジエン−ゴムまたはポリウレタンから成る、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- ベーストレイが、粒径yを有する粒子のための通過口を有し、その際yはxよりも1〜20mm小さい、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- ベーストレイ中の通過口が円形である、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 捕捉装置が、粒径zを有する粒子のための通過口を有し、その際、zはyよりも0.1〜10mm小さい、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- それぞれ2個の管状磁石の間に、管状磁石ではない少なくとも1個のさらなるバーが存在する、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 連行された弾性ボールを、捕捉装置によって連続的に搬出する、請求項1から8までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 捕捉装置が、水平方向に対して少なくとも30°の勾配を有する、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 吸水性ポリマー粒子が、少なくとも15g/gの遠心保持容量を有する、請求項1から10までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
