Description
a)少なくとも部分的に中和されていてよい、酸基を有する少なくとも1種のエチレン系不飽和モノマー、
b)少なくとも1種の架橋剤、
c)少なくとも1種の開始剤、
d)任意に、a)に挙げたモノマーと共重合可能な1種又はそれ以上のエチレン系不飽和モノマー及び
e)任意に、1種又はそれ以上の水溶性ポリマー
を含有するモノマー溶液又はモノマー懸濁液を重合することによって吸水性ポリマー粒子を製造し、
得られた水性ポリマーゲルの乾燥、粉砕、分級及び熱による表面後架橋を含む、吸水性ポリマー粒子の製造方法によって解決され、
前記方法は、前記吸水性ポリマー粒子が、表面後架橋前、表面後架橋中又は表面後架橋後に、0.0001〜0.25質量%の二酸化ケイ素及び少なくとも1.5×10-6mol/gのアルミニウムカチオンでコーティングされることによって特徴付けられる。
吸水性ポリマー粒子は、モノマー溶液又はモノマー懸濁液の重合により製造され、かつ通常、水に不溶である。
測定は、他に記載されない限り、23±2℃の周囲温度及び50±10%の相対空気湿度で実施する。吸水性ポリマー粒子を、その測定前に十分混合する。
遠心機保持容量(CRC)は、EDANAにより推奨された試験法No. WSP 241.2-05"Centrifuge Retention Capacity"に従って測定される。
49.2g/cm2の圧力下の吸収(AUL0.7psi)は、EDANAにより推奨された試験法No. WSP 242.2-05"Absorption under Pressure"に類似して測定され、その際に21.0g/cm2の圧力(AUL0.3psi)の代わりに49.2g/cm2の圧力(AUL0.7psi)に調節される。
固化傾向の測定のために、アルミニウムシャーレ(直径5.7cm)の空質量(Wd)を測定する。引き続き、吸水性ポリマー粒子5gをアルミニウムシャーレ中へはかり入れ、吸水性ポリマー粒子で覆われたアルミニウムシャーレを恒温恒湿器中で40℃及び80%相対空気湿度で1時間、貯蔵する。
37.3質量%ナトリウムアクリラート水溶液5009gを、アクリル酸477g及び水430gと混合し、窒素で不活性化した。この混合物を、窒素で不活性化されたWerner & Pfleiderer LUK 8.0 K2ニーダー(2軸、Σ型ブレード)中へ入れて、連続してポリエチレングリコールジアクリラート9.0g(400g/molの平均モル質量を有するポリエチレングリコールのジアクリラート)、1.0質量%アスコルビン酸水溶液4.4g、15質量%過硫酸ナトリウム水溶液18.1g及び3質量%過酸化水素水溶液3.9gと混合した。ニーダーを、最大回転数(より高速の軸約98rpm、より低速の軸約49rpm、約2:1の比)で撹拌した。過酸化水素の添加直後、ニーダージャケットを80℃の温かい熱媒体で加熱した。最大温度の達成後に、ジャケット加熱のスイッチを切り、ニーダー中でさらに15分間後反応させた。得られたポリマーゲルを65℃に冷却し、排出した。ポリマーゲルの乾燥を、175℃で75分間、板あたり700gの負荷で循環空気乾燥器中で行った。ロールミル(Gebr. Baumeister LRC 125/70、ギャップ幅1000μm、600μm、400μm)中での3回の粉砕後に、ポリマー粒子を850〜100μmのふるい分級物にふるい分けした。
Claims (7)
- a)酸基の72〜85mol%が中和されている、酸基を有する少なくとも1種のエチレン系不飽和モノマー、
b)少なくとも1種の架橋剤、
c)少なくとも1種の開始剤、
d)任意に、a)に挙げたモノマーと共重合可能な1種又はそれ以上のエチレン系不飽和モノマー及び
e)任意に、1種又はそれ以上の水溶性ポリマー
を含有するモノマー水溶液又は水性モノマー懸濁液を重合し、
得られた水性ポリマーゲルの乾燥、粉砕、分級及び熱による表面後架橋を含む、吸水性ポリマー粒子の製造方法であって、
前記吸水性ポリマー粒子を、熱による表面後架橋前に1.5×10-6 〜6×10 -6 mol/gのアルミニウムカチオンでコーティングし、かつ熱による表面後架橋後に0.0001〜0.25質量%の二酸化ケイ素でコーティングすることを特徴とする、
吸水性ポリマー粒子の製造方法。 - 吸水性ポリマー粒子を、0.08〜0.12質量%の二酸化ケイ素でコーティングする、請求項1記載の方法。
- 吸水性ポリマー粒子を、4×10-6〜6×10-6mol/gのアルミニウムカチオンでコーティングする、請求項1又は2記載の方法。
- 吸水性ポリマー粒子の75〜77mol%の酸基が中和されている、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 架橋剤b)の量を、吸水性ポリマー粒子が35〜37g/gの遠心機保持容量を有するように調節する、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の方法により製造される吸水性ポリマー粒子。
- 請求項6記載の吸水性ポリマー粒子を含有する、衛生用品。
