Abstract
Description
a) 酸基を有し且つ少なくとも部分的に中和され得る少なくとも1つのエチレン性不飽和モノマー、
b) 少なくとも1つの架橋剤、
c) 少なくとも1つの開始剤、
d) 随意に、a)に記載されたモノマーと共重合可能な1つまたはそれより多くのエチレン性不飽和モノマー、および
e) 随意に、1つまたはそれより多くの水溶性ポリマー
を含むモノマー溶液または懸濁液を重合すること、生じるポリマーゲルを乾燥させ、粉砕し且つ分級すること、少なくとも1つの後架橋剤を前記吸水性ポリマー粒子上に施与すること、熱により後架橋すること、および冷却することを含む吸水性ポリマー粒子の製造方法であって、その際、後架橋剤の施与を可動式の混合器具を備えた混合機内で実施し、熱による後架橋を接触式乾燥機内で実施し、冷却を接触式冷却機内で実施し、且つ、接触式乾燥機の外表面が外部加熱される、前記製造方法によって解決された。

特段記載されない限り、測定は、雰囲気温度23±2℃、および相対湿度50±10%で行われるべきである。測定前に吸水性ポリマー粒子を徹底的に混合する。
吸水性ポリマー粒子の遠心保持容量(CRC)を、EDANA推奨試験方法No. WSP 241.2−05 「Centrifuge Retention Capacity」によって測定する。
脱イオン水、50質量%の水酸化ナトリウム溶液、およびアクリル酸を連続的に混合することによって、アクリル酸/アクリル酸ナトリウム溶液を、中和度が71.3mol%になるように調製した。モノマー溶液の固体含有率は38.8質量%であった。

実施例1を繰り返したが、ただし、パドル乾燥機自体の外表面が外部加熱された点で異なる。外部加熱を、圧力24bar(220℃)を有する蒸気を用いて実施した。

Claims (15)
- a) 酸基を有し且つ少なくとも部分的に中和され得る少なくとも1つのエチレン性不飽和モノマー、
b) 少なくとも1つの架橋剤、
c) 少なくとも1つの開始剤、
d) 随意に、a)に記載されたモノマーと共重合可能な1つまたはそれより多くのエチレン性不飽和モノマー、および
e) 随意に、1つまたはそれより多くの水溶性ポリマー
を含むモノマー溶液または懸濁液を重合すること、生じるポリマーゲルを乾燥させ、粉砕し且つ分級すること、少なくとも1つの後架橋剤を前記吸水性ポリマー粒子上に施与すること、熱により後架橋すること、および冷却することを含む、吸水性ポリマー粒子の製造方法であって、その際、後架橋剤の施与を可動式の混合器具を備えた混合機内で実施し、熱による後架橋を接触式乾燥機内で実施し、冷却を接触式冷却機内で実施し、且つ、接触式乾燥機の外表面が外部加熱される、前記製造方法。 - さらに、混合機から接触式乾燥機への接合部の外表面、および接触式乾燥機から接触式冷却機への接合部の外表面が外部加熱される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 外部加熱温度が、接触式乾燥機の出口での吸水性ポリマー粒子の温度よりも高い、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 外部加熱温度が、接触式乾燥機の出口での吸水性ポリマー粒子の温度よりも少なくとも20℃高い、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 外部加熱を、蒸気を用いて実施する、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 外部加熱を、少なくとも16barの圧力を有する蒸気を用いて実施する、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 接触式乾燥機がパドル乾燥機である、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 吸水性ポリマー粒子が、混合機から接触式乾燥機に、および接触式乾燥機から接触式冷却機に、重量によって搬送される、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 吸水性ポリマー粒子が、少なくとも15g/gの遠心保持容量を有する、請求項1から8までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 可動式の混合器具を備えた混合機、接触式乾燥機および接触式冷却機を含む、吸水性ポリマー粒子を後架橋するための装置であって、接触式乾燥機の外表面を外部加熱できる前記装置。
- さらに、混合機から接触式乾燥機への接合部の外表面、および接触式乾燥機から接触式冷却機への接合部の外表面を外部加熱できる、請求項10に記載の通気ベルト式乾燥機。
- 外部加熱を、蒸気を用いて実施できる、請求項10または11に記載の通気ベルト式乾燥機。
- 前記接触式乾燥機がパドル乾燥機である、請求項10から12までのいずれか1項に記載の通気ベルト式乾燥機。
- 前記混合機が垂直混合機である、請求項10から13までのいずれか1項に記載の通気ベルト式乾燥機。
