Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.170℃を超える温度で10分を上回る間熱処理された水性流体吸収性ポ リマー粒子を含む組成物であって、該組成物は熱処理後に有機溶剤または、水に 不溶かつ膨潤不能の粉末の不在下において添加剤水溶液により再加湿されており 、かつ該組成物の総重量を基準にして1ないし10重量パーセントの水を含み、 さらに該組成物は0.3psi(21,000ダイン/cm2)の圧力下で少な くとも20グラムの0.9重量パーセント食塩水溶液を吸収する能力、すなわち 20グラム/グラムを上回る60分0.3psi(21,000ダイン/cm2 )AULを特徴とする組成物。 2.該添加剤水溶液が一価または多価金属塩を含有することを特徴とする請求 項1記載の組成物。 3.該添加剤水溶液が一価金属塩を含有することを特徴とする請求項2記載の 組成物。 4.該添加剤水溶液が1ないし40パーセントのKClまたはNaCl溶液で あることを特徴とする請求項2記載の組成物。 5.該添加剤水溶液が20パーセントNaCl溶液であることを特徴とする請 求項2、3または4記載の組成物。 6.該一価金属塩が総SAPを基準にして0.05ないし5パーセントの量で 用いられることを特徴とする請求項2、3または4記載の組成物。 7.該添加剤水溶液がプロポキシル化ポリオール類を含有することを特徴とす る請求項1記載の組成物。 8.該添加剤水溶液が硫酸塩系金属塩類を含有することを特徴とする請求項2 記載の組成物。 9.該添加剤水溶液がアルミニウムまたはナトリウムの塩化物もしくは硫酸塩 を含有することを特徴とする請求項8記載の組成物。 10.該添加剤水溶液が硫酸ナトリウムを含有することを特徴とする請求項8 記載の組成物。 11.該添加剤水溶液が硫酸アルミニウムを念有することを特徴とする請求項 9記載の組成物。 12.該添加剤水溶液が一価および/または多価ならびにプロポキシル化ポリ オールの混合物であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の組成物。 13.組成物が1ないし6パーセントの水を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記 載の組成物。 14.該多価金属カチオンまたはプロポキシル化ポリオールが乾燥SAPの総 重量を基準にして500ないし5,000ppmの量で用いられることを特徴と する請求項2記載の組成物。 15.多価金属カチオンまたはプロポキシル化ポリオールが乾燥SAPの総重 量を基準にして1,000ないし2,500ppmの量で用いられることを特徴 とする請求項14記載の組成物。 16.(a)ゲル化重合プロセスにより水に膨潤可能なヒドロゲルを調製し; (b)該ヒドロゲルを乾燥及び分粒して、乾燥し分粒した粒子を含む組 成物を生成させ(該組成物は50ないし1500ミクロンの粒度分布を有する粒 子を含み); (c)熱処理し;そして (d)有機溶剤または、水に不溶の無機粉末の不在下で、該組成物を添 加剤水溶液と接触させることを含む方法であって、さらに該組成物が20グラム /グラムを上回る60分0.3psi(21,000ダイン/cm2)AULを 特徴とする方法。 17.(a)水に膨潤可能なヒドロゲル中に、モノマー混合物をゲル化重合さ せ; (b)該ヒドロゲルを乾燥及び分粒して、乾燥し分粒した粒子を含む組 成物を生成させ(該組成物は50ないし1500ミクロンの粒度分布を有する粒 子を含み); (c)該生成組成物を熱処理し;そして (d)有機溶剤または、水に不溶の無機粉末の不在下で、該組成物を添 加剤水溶液と接触させることにより調製される高吸収性ポリマーであって、さら に該組成物が20グラム/グラムを上回る60分0.3psi(21,000ダ イン/cm2)AULを特徴とするポリマー。 18.(a)ゲル化重合プロセスにより水に膨潤可能なヒドロゲルを調製し; (b)該ヒドロゲルを乾燥および分粒して、乾燥し分粒した粒子を含む 組成物を生成させ(該組成物は50ないし1500ミクロンの粒度分布を有する 粒子を含み); (c)有機溶剤または、水に不溶の無機粉末の不在下で、該組成物を添 加剤水溶液と接触させ、ここで該組成物は20グラム/グラムを上回る60分0 .3psi(21,000ダイン/cm2)AULを特徴とし; (d)該組成物を乾燥および/または熱処理し;そして、任意に (e)該生成SAPが最高10パーセントの水を含有するように該熱処 理SAPを再加湿すること を含む方法。 19.該添加剤溶液が架橋剤を含有する溶液であることを特徴とする請求項1 8記載の方法。 20.該架橋剤が該SAPのポリマー鎖間に補足的架橋結合を形成することが できる二官能または多官能性薬剤であることを特徴とする請求項19記載の方法 。
