Description
本発明は、スクリューコンベアー(1)を用いてポリマーゲルに固形の添加物質を添加することを含む吸水性ポリマー粒子の製造方法において、固形の添加物質及びガス体積流をスクリューコンベアー(1)に添加チャネル(2)を用いて供給する製造方法に関する。
a)少なくとも1種のエチレン性不飽和の酸基含有モノマー、これは少なくとも部分的に中和されていることができる、
b)少なくとも1種の架橋剤、
c)場合により1種又は複数種の、a)で挙げたモノマーと共重合可能なエチレン性及び/又はアリル性不飽和モノマー、及び
d)場合により1種又は複数種の水溶性ポリマー
を含有する
水性のモノマー溶液又はモノマー懸濁液の重合による、
i)重合反応器中での溶液重合工程、その際重合反応器中ではポリマーゲルが産生される、
ii)少なくとも1のスクリューコンベアー(1)を用いたポリマーゲルへの溶液重合の間及び/又は後の少なくとも1の固形の添加物質の添加工程、その際この固形の添加物質はスクリューコンベアー(1)に添加チャネル(2)を用いて供給される、及び
iii)固形の添加物質のポリマーゲル中への混入工程
を含む吸水性ポリマー粒子を製造する方法において、
添加チャネル(2)を介して更にガス体積流がスクリューコンベアー(1)に供給され、この結果ガス体積流のガス速度が添加チャネル(2)中でスクリューコンベアー(1)の方向で少なくとも0.05m/sであり、かつ、このガス体積流の露点がスクリューコンベアー(1)及び添加チャネル(2)の最低内壁温度を少なくとも20℃下回ることを特徴とする製造方法により解決された。
Claims (12)
- a)少なくとも部分的に中和されていてよい、少なくとも1種のエチレン性不飽和の酸基含有モノマー、及び
b)少なくとも1種の架橋剤
を含有する
水性のモノマー溶液又はモノマー懸濁液の重合による、
i)重合反応器中での溶液重合工程、その際重合反応器中でポリマーゲルが産生される、
ii)少なくとも1のスクリューコンベアー(1)を用いたポリマーゲルへの溶液重合の間及び/又は後の少なくとも1種の固形の添加物質の添加工程、その際前記固形の添加物質はスクリューコンベアー(1)に添加チャネル(2)を用いて供給される、及び
iii)固形の添加物質のポリマーゲル中への混入工程
を含む吸水性ポリマー粒子を製造する方法において、
添加チャネル(2)を介して更にガス体積流をスクリューコンベアー(1)に供給し、この結果ガス体積流のガス速度が添加チャネル(2)中でスクリューコンベアー(1)の方向で少なくとも0.05m/sであり、かつ、このガス体積流の露点がスクリューコンベアー(1)及び添加チャネル(2)の最低内壁温度を少なくとも20℃下回ることを特徴とする製造方法。 - 重合反応器がニーダー反応器であり、かつ固形の添加物質をニーダー反応器中でポリマーゲル中に混入することを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- ポリマーゲルの水含量が混入の際に少なくとも20質量%であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の方法。
- ポリマーゲルが混入の際に少なくとも60℃の温度を有することを特徴とする請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 300μm未満の粒径を有する吸水性ポリマー粒子を固形の添加物質として使用することを特徴とする請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- スクリューコンベアー(1)が垂直に取り付けられていることを特徴とする請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- ガスが不活性ガスであることを特徴とする請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 不活性ガスが窒素であることを特徴とする請求項7記載の方法。
- スクリューコンベアー(1)及び添加チャネル(2)が断熱されておりかつ/又は随伴加熱されていることを特徴とする請求項1から8までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 吸水性ポリマー粒子は、少なくとも15g/gの遠心保持容量を有することを特徴とする請求項1から9までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- a)少なくとも部分的に中和されていてよい、少なくとも1種のエチレン性不飽和の酸基含有モノマー、及び
b)少なくとも1種の架橋剤、
を含有する
水性のモノマー溶液又はモノマー懸濁液の重合により吸水性ポリマー粒子をニーダー反応器中で製造する方法において、少なくとも2の添加箇所を介して不活性ガスをニーダー反応器中に計量供給し、不活性ガスの流速がニーダー反応器中で、ニーダー反応器のガス充填された体積要素中で0.05m/sを下回らないことを特徴とする製造方法。 - 不活性ガスの流速がニーダー反応器中で、ニーダー反応器のガス充填された体積要素中で0.15m/sを下回らないことを特徴とする請求項11記載の方法。
