Abstract
【解決手段】フラン樹脂、塩素化塩化ビニル樹脂などの炭素含有樹脂に窒化硼素などの導電阻害物質となり得る金属または半金属化合物を混合し、基材上にスクリーン印刷により発熱体のパターンを形成し、1000℃程度の温度で焼成してNTC特性の定着用ヒータを得る。

Claims (10)
- 基材と、
該基材上に設けられ、アモルファス炭素と、該アモルファス炭素中に均一に分散した導電阻害物質としての金属または半金属化合物とを含み、厚さ0.06mm以上である炭素系発熱層とを具備する定着用ヒータ。 - 前記炭素系発熱層は、前記アモルファス炭素中に均一に分散した炭素粉末をさらに含む請求項1記載の定着用ヒータ。
- 前記金属または半金属化合物は窒化硼素を含む請求項1または2記載の定着用ヒータ。
- 前記炭素系発熱層が負の温度特性を有する請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載の定着用ヒータ。
- 基材と、
該基材上に設けられ、導電阻害物質としてのアモルファス炭素と、該アモルファス炭素中に均一に分散した炭素粉末とを含み、アモルファス炭素と炭素粉末の割合を調節することにより調節される固有抵抗値を有する炭素系発熱層とを具備する定着用ヒータ。 - 炭素含有樹脂に、炭素含有樹脂の炭素化後に導電阻害物質となり得る金属または半金属化合物の層を均一に混合して混合物を形成し、
該混合物の層をスクリーン印刷により基材上に設け、
該基材上に設けられた該混合物を不活性雰囲気中で焼成して前記炭素含有樹脂を炭素化して厚さ0.06mm以上の炭素系発熱層とするステップを具備する定着用ヒータの製造方法。 - 前記炭素含有樹脂に炭素粉末を混合するステップをさらに具備する請求項6記載の定着用ヒータの製造方法。
- 前記金属または半金属化合物は窒化硼素を含む請求項6または7記載の定着用ヒータの製造方法。
- 前記炭素化は1700℃未満の温度で行なわれる請求項6〜8のいずれか1項記載の定着用ヒータの製造方法。
- 炭素含有樹脂に、炭素粉末を均一に混合して混合物を形成し、
該混合物の層を基材上に設け、
該基材上に設けられた該混合物を不活性雰囲気中で焼成して前記炭素含有樹脂を炭素化して発熱層を形成し、
前記炭素含有樹脂と前記炭素粉末の混合比を調節することにより発熱層の固有抵抗値を調節するステップを具備する定着用ヒータの製造方法。
