2006年3月10日出願のRichard W. RandlettによるELIMINATION OF DUMMY DETECTOR ON OPTICAL DETECTORS USING INPUT COMMON MODE FEEDBACKと題された米国特許出願番号11/372,793。
本特許文献の開示の一部には著作権保護に従う構成要素が含まれる。著作権者は、米国特許商標庁の特許包袋や特許記録に記載されているような特許文献又は特許情報開示の任意の者による複製に対して、異議を申し立てることは無いが、その他の全ての著作権を留保する。
Claims (9)
- 電気信号を増幅する回路であって、該回路は、
入力信号を提供する光検出器と、
前記光検出器から入力信号を受信し、出力信号を形成するよう前記入力信号を増幅する第1増幅器であって、前記入力信号を受信するアクティブな入力を含み、さらに非アクティブな入力も含む複数の入力を具備する前記第1増幅器と、
前記第1増幅器への前記複数の入力において定電圧を印加し、その結果、前記第1増幅器の前記非アクティブな入力上のダミー検出器の必要性を排除する第2増幅器と、
を備える回路。 - 前記第2増幅器は、おおよそ一定レベルで入力コモンモード電圧を維持することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回路。
- 前記光検出器はフォトダイオードを備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回路。
- 前記第2増幅器の非反転入力へ参照電圧を提供する参照電圧Vreferenceをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回路。
- 前記第2増幅器は、前記第1増幅器への前記複数の入力における入力電圧を検知し、前記第1増幅器への前記複数の入力において定電圧を印加するように出力信号を決定することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の回路。
- 前記第1増幅器は、トランスインピーダンス増幅器であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回路。
- 前記第1増幅器の前記出力にはレーザーを基礎とした装置を用いることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回路。
- 前記レーザーを基礎とした装置はコンパクトディスク(CD)ドライブであることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の回路。
- 前記レーザーを基礎とした装置はデジタル多用途ディスク(DVD)ドライブであることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の回路。
