Abstract
【解決手段】燃料電池20の冷却液供給系3を循環する冷却液の温度を温度センサ32で検出し、温度センサ32の検出温度を制御部80で監視して、冷却液の温度が目標温度より高くなったときには、ロータリバルブ34をラジエータ側流路に切替えて、ラジエータ33によって冷却液を冷却し、冷却液の温度が目標温度より低くなったときには、ロータリバルブ34をバイパス側流路に切替え、FC発電によって冷却液の温度を上昇させ、温度センサ32の検出温度が目標温度になるように制御する過程で、低温環境下では、目標温度を通常時よりも高めるとともに、加熱手段130によって冷却液を加熱する。

カソードオフガス流路72には、カソードオフガス流路72の排気圧力を調整する調圧弁77、カソードオフガス中の水分を除去する気液分離器64、カソードオフガスの排気音を吸収するマフラー65が設けられている。気液分離器64から排出されたカソードオフガスは分流され、一方は、希釈器62に流れ込み、希釈器62内に滞留する燃料オフガスと混合希釈され、また分流された他方のカソードオフガスは、マフラー65にて吸音され、希釈器62により混合希釈されたガスと混合されて、車外に排出される。
まず、ステップS1において、制御部80は、温度センサ83の検出信号を参照して、ステップS2において、低温環境下の運転であるか否かを判定する。低温環境下であるか否かは、所定のしきい値温度と比較することになる。例えばこのしきい値温度は零度である。
図4に示すように、通常モードである場合には、第1の目標温度である温度T3〜T4の間に冷却液の温度が維持される。また蓄熱モードである場合には、通常モードのための第1の目標温度よりも高めの第2の目標温度である温度T4〜T5の間に冷却液の温度が維持される。
なお、上記実施形態では、図3に示すようなエアコンを利用した加熱手段により蓄熱モードにおける冷却液の加熱をしていたが、このような構成に限定されることはない。冷却液を昇温させるができる構成であれば、任意の手段を適用することが可能である。
Claims (4)
- 反応ガスの供給を受けて発電する燃料電池を有する燃料電池システムであって、
所定の温度以下の低温環境下では、該通常運転時よりも高い目標温度となるように該燃料電池の温度を制御することを特徴とする燃料電池システム。 - 該燃料電池に冷却液を供給する冷却液供給手段と、
該冷却液の温度が目標温度となるように、該冷却液に対する熱交換量を制御する冷却液制御手段と、を備え、
該冷却液制御手段は、低温環境下では、前記通常運転時よりも高い目標温度となるように該冷却液の温度を制御する、
請求項1に記載の燃料電池システム。 - 請求項2に記載の燃料電池システムにおいて、
前記冷却液制御手段は、前記燃料電池の電解質膜が乾燥気味のときには、前記低温環境下であっても、前記目標温度を前記通常時の目標温度に維持してなること、
を特徴とする燃料電池システム。 - 請求項2に記載の燃料電池システムにおいて、
前記冷却液供給手段は、
前記燃料電池を冷却するための冷却液のループを形成する冷却路と、
前記冷却路中に挿入されて前記冷却液を循環させる冷却液ポンプと、
前記冷却液の熱を外部に放熱するラジエータと、
前記ラジエータへ流入する冷却液の流路を、前記ラジエータをバイパスするバイパス側流路と前記ラジエータを通過するラジエータ側流路とに切り替える切替えバルブと、を備え、
前記冷却液制御手段は、
前記冷却路中の冷却液を加熱する加熱手段と、
前記冷却路中の冷却液の温度を検出する温度センサと、
前記温度センサの検出温度が目標温度となるように前記切替えバルブの切り替えを制御する制御手段と、を備え、
前記冷却液制御手段は、前記温度センサの検出温度が低温環境下にあることを示すときには、前記目標温度を高くするとともに、前記冷却液の温度が、高くなった目標温度となるように前記加熱手段を駆動してなること、
を特徴とする燃料電池システム。
