Abstract
【解決手段】本発明のエアバッグ装置1は、バッテリ2と、昇圧回路3と、バックアップ電源4と、サードFETドライバ回路50と、サードFET6と、サードFETドライバ回路用電源7とを備えている。サードFETドライバ回路用電源7は、コンデンサ70、71によって構成されている。サードFETドライバ回路用電源7は、昇圧回路3の出力電圧が遮断したとき、バックアップ電源4に比べ、電圧の低下が緩やかになるように、コンデンサ70、71の容量が設定されている。これにより、従来のようなチャージポンプ回路を用いる必要がなくなり、サードFETドライバ回路用電源として特性を確保しつつ、構成を簡素化することができる。そのため、エアバッグ装置1のコストを抑えることができる。

Description
まず、図1を参照してエアバッグ装置の構成について説明する。ここで、図1は、第1実施形態におけるエアバッグ装置の回路図である。
また、並列接続されたコンデンサ70、71の一端は、エアバッグ制御用IC5のCSAF端子を介してサードFETドライバ回路50に接続されている。
次に、第2実施形態のエアバッグ装置について説明する。第2実施形態のエアバッグ装置は、第1実施形態のエアバッグ装置に対して、サードFETドライバ回路用電源の逆流防止用のダイオードをエアバッグ制御用ICに内蔵するとともに、異常検出回路を設けることで、サードFETドライバ回路用電源のコンデンサの数を減らしたものである。
Claims (5)
- 主電源と、該主電源が遮断したとき、該主電源に代わって電圧を供給するバックアップ電源と、該主電源と点火回路との間に配置されるスイッチング素子と、該点火回路に所定電圧が供給されるように該スイッチング素子を駆動する駆動回路と、該主電源に接続され、該主電源が遮断したとき、該主電源に代わって該駆動回路に電圧を供給する駆動回路用電源とを備えた車両用乗員保護装置において、
該駆動回路用電源は、該主電源によって充電されるコンデンサからなり、該コンデンサは、該主電源が遮断したとき、該バックアップ電源に比べ電圧の低下が緩やかになるように設定されていることを特徴とする車両用乗員保護装置。 - 前記駆動回路用電源は、並列接続された複数のコンデンサによって構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用乗員保護装置。
- 前記駆動回路は、前記駆動回路用電源の出力を接地しないように動作することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の車両用乗員保護装置。
- 前記駆動回路の出力を接地して、前記駆動回路による前記スイッチング素子の駆動を禁止する駆動禁止回路を有することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の車両用乗員保護装置。
- 前記駆動回路及び前記駆動禁止回路は、前記駆動回路用電源の出力を接地しないように動作することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の車両用乗員保護装置。
