Abstract
【解決手段】液晶駆動回路基板14と導電層を持たないフローティングとなっている対向基板12とで構成される表示パネル間に液晶材11を充填し、対向基板12の外側に表面導電処理を施した偏光板13を設けた液晶表示装置において、偏光板13を表示パネル外形より大きくはみ出して形成すると共に、その表示パネル外形の外側で偏光板13の表面と導通させ接地をとる。

Description
本発明において、前記偏光板の表面の接地は、前記偏光板の表面を前記表示パネル外形の導体ケースへの接続により行うことができ、また、前記偏光板の表面の前記導体ケースとの接続は、弾力性のある導体を介して行うことができ、また、前記偏光板の表面の前記導体ケースとの接続は、前記導体ケースに直接または前記導体ケースを折り曲げて前記偏光板表面と直接接触させて行うことができる。

Claims (8)
- 液晶表示を行う表示パネルの導電層を持たない基板表面に表面導電処理を施した偏光板を貼り付けた液晶表示パネルにおいて、前記偏光板を前記表示パネル外形より大きく形成すると共に、前記表示パネル外形の外側で前記偏光板の表面を接地したことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
- 液晶駆動回路基板と導電層を持たないフローティングとなっている対向基板とで構成される表示パネル間に液晶を充填し、前記対向基板の外側に表面導電処理を施した偏光板を設けた液晶表示装置において、前記偏光板を前記表示パネル外形より大きくはみ出して形成すると共に、前記表示パネル外形の外側で前記偏光板表面を接地させたことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
- 前記偏光板の表面の接地は、前記偏光板の表面を前記表示パネル外形の導体ケースへの接続により行う請求項1または2記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記偏光板の表面の前記導体ケースとの接続は、弾力性のある導体を介して行う請求項3記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記偏光板の表面の前記導体ケースとの接続は、前記導体ケースに直接または前記導体ケースを折り曲げて前記偏光板表面と直接接触させて行う請求項3記載の液晶表示装置。
- 液晶表示を行う表示パネルの導電層を持たない基板に導電処理を施した偏光板を貼り付ける液晶表示装置の製造方法において、前記偏光板を前記表示パネル外形より大きく形成し、前記表示パネル外形の外側で前記偏光板の表面を接地させることを特徴とする液晶表示装置の製造方法。
- 液晶駆動回路基板と導電層を持たないフローティングとなっている対向基板とで構成される表示パネル間に液晶を充填し、前記対向基板の外側に表面導電処理を施した偏光板を設けた液晶表示装置の製造方法において、前記対向基板の偏光板を前記表示パネル外形より大きくはみ出して形成し、前記偏光板表面を、前記表示パネル外形の外側で前記偏光板表面と接地し導通させることを特徴とする液晶表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記偏光板の表面の前記導体ケースとの接続は、前記導体ケースに直接または前記導体ケースを折り曲げて前記偏光板表面と直接接触させて行う請求項8記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
