Description
図2は液晶表示装置の上面図である。TFT側透明基板2に電気信号を供給するための回路基板10が接続されている。第一の導通材8は透明導電層5の一部と接続、導通している。図3は図2の点線cとdの間の断面図であり、第二の導通電9はフレーム7の一部が導電性を持つように構成されている。

Claims (5)
- 透明基板とTFT側透明基板を対向させて液晶層を挟持する液晶セルと、前記液晶セルを駆動する駆動回路を有する横電界方式の液晶表示装置において、前記透明基板の外部表面に透明導電層を成膜し、断面がコの字状の導通材で前記透明基板と前記TFT側透明基板を挟むこみことにより、前記透明導電層と前記駆動回路のグランドを電気的に接続することを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
- 前記断面がコの字状の導通材は前記透明基板の一部と接触し、挟み込むような力を発生するバネ構造を有していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記断面がコの字状の導通材は前記透明基板と接触する面に突起があることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記液晶セルを収納するフレームを備えるとともに、前記断面がコの字状の導通材と勘合する勘合溝が前記フレームに形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記導通材が金属板で形成された金具であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の液晶表示装置。
