Abstract
【解決手段】包装材が吸収性物品を包んで重なり合う箇所を加圧シールする部分において、エンボスパターンの圧搾部分または非圧搾部分を、間欠または連続、またはそれらを混合した配列とすることによって、内包する吸収性物品の商品名やサイズ、形態等の情報を告知する個別包装体とする。

Description
図1及び図2は本実施形態に係る個別包装体の表示部におけるエンボスパターンの圧搾部分が間欠に配列された場合を示す図であり、図3及び図4は圧搾部分が連続に配列された場合を示す図であり、図5は圧搾部分の配列が間欠と連続との混合である場合を示す図であり、図6及び図7はエンボスの凹部の数を説明するための図であり、図8から図17は文字以外にもエンボスパターンを施す場合を説明した図である。
本発明においては、個別包装体の縦方向の線圧がエンボス領域において一定であることがより好ましい。この点、例えば図6では、Ai線上に存在するエンボス凹部は12個であるのに対し、Aii線上に存在するエンボス凹部は8個である。つまり、線A上のエンボス凹部1個にかかる圧力は線Aiにかかる圧力に比べ線Aiiにかかる圧力の方が大きくなる。しかし、個別包装体シールの強度を考慮して、線Aiiのシール強度を基準とすると、線Aiにおけるシール強度は弱くなりシール性に問題が出る可能性がある。逆に、線Aiにおけるシール強度を基準とすると、線Aiiにおけるシール強度が強くなりシール性に問題が出る可能性がある。これに対し、個別包装体を縦方向に延びる線A−Aの線圧がエンボス領域において一定であると、上記問題が解決できることとなる。即ち、図7のような場合には、線Ai上、線Aii上、線Aiii上のいずれにおいてもエンボス凹部の数は4個と同じであり、線圧が同じになるため、上記のような問題が生じることがない。
上述した例では、文字と文字との間にシールされない部分があることになるが、特に文字間隔が大きい場合には衛生面で重要な個別包装体の密閉性に問題がある。そのような時は、文字を表示する第1圧搾部分の他に、第2の圧搾部分を加えるようにしてもよい。具体的には、図8及びその一部拡大図である図9に示すように、両最外縁となる部分に間欠に圧搾部分を配列したエンボスパターンを第2の圧搾部分として線状に加えるようにしてもよく、また、図10及びその一部拡大図である図11に示すように、連続の圧搾部分を線状に加えるようにして、文字間隔の部分においても密閉性を上げることができる。そして、より一層密閉性を高めるために、図12及び図13に示すように文字を挟むように線状のエンボスパターンを加えてもよい。そしてこれが、図14及び図15に示すように圧搾部分が連続に配列されたものであっても構わない。また、図16及び図17に示すように、弟1圧搾部分である文字部分及び第2圧搾部分である線状部分の双方を連続に配列しても構わない。
個別包装体用の包装資材としては、ポリエチレンシート、ポリプロピレンシート、ポリウレタンシート等を用いることができ、スパンボンド/メルトブローン/スパンボンドのポリプロピレン長繊維不織布積層体等も用いることができる。また、上記個別包装体資材にシリコーン樹脂やフッ素樹脂系等の剥離処理剤で剥離処理した上記シートも用いることができる。
次に他の実施形態について説明する。図18から図25は文字部分以外にエンボスパターンを施した場合を示す図である。
次に、更に別の実施形態について説明する。図28及び図29はエンボスパターンの大きさを文字部分とそれ以外の部分とで異なるようにした場合を示す図である。
上述したようにエンボスパターンの配列を適宜変更することにより、上述した表示部20における文字部分については、様々な情報を表示させるようにすることができる。例えば、図30(1)の「BF−SNG」、図30(2)の「WG−350」、図30(3)の「AC−SLIM」、図30(4)の「SLIM−W」というようなものが挙げられる。この他、企業名や商品名、使用方法や使用期限、スローガンやキャンペーン文句等、あらゆるものを表現するために多種多様な文字や数字等の組み合わせを行うことが可能である。
次に、個別包装体の製造工程(特にシール工程)について説明する。図31及び図33は製造ラインを示す図であり、図32はシールユニットの部分を説明するための拡大図である。

Claims (12)
- 吸収性物品とこれを包む包装材とから成る個別包装体であって、
前記吸収性物品の周辺において前記包装材同士が重なり合う部分を一部シールすることにより前記吸収性物品を内包して封止するものであり、前記シールする部分が前記吸収性物品の情報を示す表示部である個別包装体。 - 前記シールは加圧シールを含むものであり、前記情報は前記加圧シールする際に施されるエンボスパターンの圧搾部分の配列により形成された文字や数字、記号、絵柄で表されるものである請求項1記載の個包装体。
- 前記圧搾部分は間欠または連続に配列されたものである請求項2記載の個別包装体。
- 前記圧搾部分は間欠状の配列と連続状の配列とが複合したものである請求項2記載の個別包装体。
- 前記表示部には、前記情報を表す第1の圧搾部分の配列と、前記情報を表すものではない第2の圧搾部分の配列とが存在する請求項2から4いずれか記載の個別包装体。
- 前記第1の圧搾部分を構成する凹部一つあたりの面積と、前記第2の圧搾部分を構成する凹部一つあたりの面積とが異なるものである請求項5記載の個別包装体。
- 前記シールは加圧シールを含むものであり、前記情報は前記加圧シールする際に施されるエンボスパターンの非圧搾部分の配列により形成された文字や数字、記号、絵柄で表されるものである請求項1記載の個別包装体。
- 少なくとも前記非圧搾部分の周りには、間欠状の配列または連続状の配列の圧搾部分が存在する請求項7記載の個別包装体。
- 少なくとも前記非圧搾部分の周りには、間欠状の配列及び連続状の配列の圧搾部分が複合して存在する請求項7記載の個別包装体。
- 前記非圧搾部分の配列の中にも、間欠状の配列及び/または連続状の配列の圧搾部分が存在する請求項8または9記載の個別包装体。
- 光、熱、電気、圧力などのエネルギーを加えることにより色調が変化する機能性色素を塗布した不織布、フィルム、ラミネート不織布のうちいずれか一つを包装材とした請求項1から10いずれか記載の個別包装体。
- 前記シールする部分の包装材と包装材との間に、前記包装材とは異なる色に着色された資材を挟み込んだ請求項1から11いずれか記載の個別包装体。
