Abstract
ボール傷の発生を防止し、音響特性と寿命の向上を図った車輪用軸受装置を提供する。
【解決手段】
複列アンギュラ玉軸受で構成された車輪用軸受装置において、内側転走面13aの溝底部近傍に溝底径d1よりも所定のカチコミ代δだけ大径に形成されたカウンター部18が形成され、このカウンター部18が、内側転走面13aから軸方向に延びる円筒部18aと、この円筒部18aから内輪13の小端面13bに向って縮径するテーパ面18bとで構成されると共に、カウンター部18と内側転走面13aとの繋ぎ部Aおよび円筒部18aとテーパ部18bの角部が円弧状に丸められ、滑らかに連続して形成されている。これにより、内輪13の組立時におけるボール14のカチコミ傷の発生を防止することができる。

図1は、本発明に係る車輪用軸受装置の第1の実施形態を示す縦断面図、図2は、図1の車輪用軸受を示す縦断面図、図3(a)は図2の要部拡大図、(b)は、(a)をさらに拡大した要部拡大図、図4は、熱処理後の内輪の研削加工を示す説明図である。なお、以下の説明では、車両に組み付けた状態で車両の外側寄りとなる側をアウター側(図面左側)、中央寄り側をインナー側(図面右側)という。

Claims (5)
- 内周に複列の外側転走面が形成された外方部材と、
外周に前記複列の外側転走面に対向する内側転走面が形成された内方部材と、
前記両転走面間に転動自在に収容された複列のボールとを備えた車輪用軸受装置において、
前記内側転走面の溝底部近傍に溝底径よりも所定のカチコミ代だけ大径に形成されたカウンター部が形成され、このカウンター部が、前記内側転走面から軸方向に延びる円筒部と、この円筒部から前記内方部材の端面に向って縮径するテーパ面とで構成されると共に、当該カウンター部と前記内側転走面との繋ぎ部および前記円筒部とテーパ部の角部が円弧状に丸められ、滑らかに連続して形成されていることを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記カウンター部が、前記内側転走面と一体に総型の研削砥石によって同時研削されている請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記カウンター部のカチコミ代が所定の公差範囲になるよう、当該カウンター部の外径が所定の規格値内に規制されている請求項1または2に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記テーパ面の傾斜角度が5°以下に設定されている請求項1乃至3いずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記内方部材が、一端部に車輪取付フランジを一体に有し、外周に前記複列の外側転走面に対向する一方の内側転走面と、この内側転走面から軸方向に延びる小径段部が形成されたハブ輪、およびこのハブ輪の小径段部に圧入され、外周に前記複列の外側転走面に対向する他方の内側転走面が形成された内輪からなり、前記ハブ輪と内輪の内側転走面に前記カウンター部が形成されている請求項1乃至4いずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
