Abstract
Description
−構造の両端部のところにおいては、各ストランドどうしの間に、ループを形成し;
−最初のストランドの自由端と最後のストランドの自由端とを、構造の両端部から、引っ込んだ位置とする。
a)単一ワイヤを使用して、チューブ状メッシュ状構造を形成し;
b)ワイヤの第1ストランドの自由端を、形成される構造の第1端部に対応した第1位置と比較してかなり引っ込んだ位置とするとともに、第1ストランドを、形成される構造の第2端部に対応した第2位置のところにまで螺旋経路に沿って延在したものとし、この第1ストランドを、第2位置のところにおいてループを形成するものとし、これにより、第2ストランドを放出させ;
c)第2ストランドを、第1位置のところにまで螺旋経路に沿って延在したものとし、この際、第2ストランドを、第1ストランドと交差するところにおいては第1ストランドに対して相互編み込みし、第2ストランドが、第1位置のところにおいてループを形成するものとし、これにより、次なるストランドを放出させ;
d)次なるストランドを、反対側の位置のところにまで螺旋経路に沿って延在したものとし、この際、この次なるストランドを、先に配置されたストランドと交差するところにおいてはそれらストランドに対して相互編み込みし、この次なるストランドが、反対側位置のところにおいてループを形成するものとし、これにより、さらに次なるストランドを放出させ;
e)ステップd)の操作を、メッシュ状チューブ状構造が形成されるまでなおかつ両端のところにおいて全周にわたってループが形成されるまで、必要回数にわたって繰り返し、さらに、最後のストランドを放出させ;
f)最後のストランドを、先に配置されたストランドと交差するところにおいてはそれらストランドに対して相互編み込みし、この最後のストランドを、この最後のストランドの自由端が反対側位置のところから十分に引っ込んだ位置となるようにして、カットする。
−得られたチューブ状構造を、具現すべきステントやプラグの形状に応じて変形させ;
−さらなる処理を行い、これにより、チューブ状構造を変形状態において安定化させる。

Claims (12)
- 特に『ステント』と称されるような生体管腔を治療するためのデバイスや『プラグ』と称されるような生体壁内の穴を閉塞し得るインプラントといったような、メッシュ状構造を有した医療用インプラント(10,23,24)の製造方法であって、
単一ワイヤを使用して、構造を形成し、この際、構造の一端から他端までにわたって、前記ワイヤの各ストランドを螺旋的に延在させるとともに、各ストランドを、先に配置された他のストランドに対して相互に編み込み、
この方法において、さらに、
−前記構造(10)の両端部のところにおいては、各ストランド(11b,11c)どうしの間に、ループ(12)を形成し;
−最初のストランド(11b)の自由端と最後のストランドの自由端とを、前記構造(10)の前記両端部から、引っ込んだ位置とする;
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法において、
−得られた前記チューブ状構造(10)を、具現すべきステントやプラグの形状に応じて変形させ;
−さらなる処理を行い、これにより、前記チューブ状構造(10)を前記変形状態において安定化させる;
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項2記載の方法において、
得られた前記チューブ状構造(10)を変形させるという前記ステップにおいては、前記構造(10)の直径を減少させ、これにより、前記構造(10)よりも小径のステントを形成することを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項2記載の方法において、
得られた前記チューブ状構造(10)を変形させるという前記ステップにおいては、前記構造(10)の直径を増大させ、これにより、前記構造(10)よりも大径のステントを形成することを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項2記載の方法において、
得られた前記チューブ状構造(10)を変形させるという前記ステップにおいては、前記構造(10)において少なくとも1つの縮径を行うことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項2記載の方法において、
得られた前記チューブ状構造(10)を変形させるという前記ステップにおいては、前記構造(10)の少なくとも一端部を径方向外向きに折り曲げ、少なくとも1つの実質的にフラットなカラー(26)を形成し、
これにより、このようにして得られた前記構造(10)を、生体壁内の穴を閉塞し得るインプラント(23,24)を形成し得るものとすることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法において、
他のストランドに対してのストランド(11b,11c)の前記相互編込を、編込プロセスによって行う、すなわち、各ストランド(11b,11c)が、他のストランドの上を通ることと、次なる他のストランドの下を通ることと、を交互に繰り返すことによって行うことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法において、
使用される前記ワイヤを、形状記憶合金から形成されたワイヤ(11)とし、特に、『ニチノール』(登録商標)という商標名で公知であるようなニッケルチタン合金から形成されたワイヤとすることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法において、
使用される前記ワイヤの直径を、0.15mm〜0.5mmという範囲とすることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法において、
前記構造(10)上に、前記構造(10)の長さを短縮させるための長さ短縮手段を配置し、
この長さ短縮手段を、長尺状態から短縮状態へと変形させ得るものとすることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法において、
前記構造(10)を、水密性フレキシブル壁によってカバーすることを特徴とする方法。 - メッシュ状チューブ状構造(10)を備えてなるインプラントであって、
請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載された方法によって得られたことを特徴とするインプラント。
