Claims (45)
- 粒子状の炭素性材料と、
ヘテロ原子を含む導電性ポリマーと、
金属と、
を含む組成物であって、該導電性ポリマーは、該炭素性材料にグラフトされている、組成物。 - 前記炭素性材料は、カーボンブラックを含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記炭素性材料は、グラファイト、ナノカーボン、フラーレン、フラーレン材料、微細粉砕カーボンまたはそれらの混合物を含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記炭素性材料は、前記組成物の約98%未満である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記炭素性材料は、前記組成物の約50%〜約80%である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記導電性ポリマーは、ポリアニリン、ポリピロール、またはそれらの混合物を含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記導電性ポリマーは、ポリフラン、ポリチオフェン、ポリ(p−フェニレンオキシド)、ポリ(p−フェニレンスルフィド)、またはその混合物を含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記へテロ原子は、N、OまたはSである、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記へテロ原子は、XPSデータによれば前記組成物の約0.2〜15%である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記導電性ポリマーは、前記組成物の約0%より多く、かつ、約100%より少ない、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記導電性ポリマーは、前記組成物の約2%から約50%で存在する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記導電性ポリマーは、前記組成物の約20%から約50%で存在する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリマーは、炭素性材料の存在下で前記導電性ポリマーのモノマーを酸化的に重合させることによって、同時に形成およびグラフト化される、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記金属は白金を含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物の約2%〜約80%は金属である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物の約2%〜約60%は金属である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物の約20%〜約40%は金属である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記金属は、前記組成物の表面に均一に分配される、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 導電性を増強した炭素組成物を調製するための方法であって、粒子状の炭素材料と一緒にしてヘテロ原子を含む導電性ポリマーのモノマーを酸化的に重合して、導電性ポリマーグラフト化炭素性材料を形成する工程、および、次いで該導電性ポリマーグラフト化炭素性材料を金属化する工程を包含する、方法。
- 前記炭素性材料は、グラファイト、ナノカーボン、フラーレン、フラーレン材料、微細粉砕カーボンまたはそれらの混合物を含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記炭素性材料は、カーボンブラックを含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記導電性ポリマーのモノマーは、アミノアリールまたは窒素複素環を含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記酸化的重合は、酸化剤の存在下で行われる、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記酸化的重合は、酸化剤を、前記炭素性材料と前記導電性ポリマーのモノマーとの混合物に加える工程を包含する、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記炭素性材料と前記導電性ポリマーの前記モノマーとの混合物は、酸溶媒をさらに含み、それによって該混合物がわずかに酸性の環境である、請求項24に記載の方法。
- 前記わずかに酸性の環境は、7未満のpHである、請求項25に記載の方法。
- 前記わずかに酸性の環境は、約3〜約4のpHである、請求項25に記載の方法。
- 前記酸化剤が過硫酸アンモニウム、塩化鉄、塩化アルミニウム、過酸化水素、過マンガン酸カリウム、過マンガン酸ナトリウム、塩素酸カリウム、またはそれらの酸化剤の組み合わせを含む、請求項24に記載の方法。
- 前記導電性ポリマーは、ポリアニリン、ポリピロール、ポリフラン、ポリチオフェン、ポリ(p−フェニレンオキシド)、ポリ(p−フェニレンスルフィド)、またはその混合物を含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記金属化は、金属含有材料を前記導電性ポリマーグラフト化炭素性材料に加えることを包含する、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記金属化は、還元剤を加えることをさらに包含する、請求項30に記載の方法。
- 前記還元剤は、ホルムアルデヒド、ホウ素水素ナトリウム、水素、ヒドラジン、ヒドロキシルアミン、またはそれらの還元剤の混合物を含む、請求項31に記載の方法。
- 前記金属含有材料は、塩化白金酸、硝酸白金、白金ハライド、白金シアニド、白金スルフィド、有機白金塩、またはこれらの混合物を含む、請求項30に記載の方法。
- 前記金属化は白金化を包含する、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 請求項19に記載の方法で作製された組成物。
- 粒子状の炭素性材料と、ヘテロ原子を含む導電性ポリマーとを含有する組成物を含む燃料電池、バッテリー、またはキャパシタのデバイスであって、該導電性ポリマーは、該炭素性材料にグラフトされており、該組成物は、燃料電池、バッテリーまたはキャパシタのデバイス中に存在する、デバイス。
- 前記組成物が、さらに金属を含む、請求項36に記載のデバイス。
- 前記金属が白金を含む、請求項37に記載のデバイス。
- 前記金属が前記デバイスの2−80%を占める、請求項37に記載のデバイス。
- さらに、電解質膜を含む、請求項36に記載のデバイス。
- 前記電解質膜がNafion(登録商標)である、請求項40に記載のデバイス。
- 前記デバイスが、燃料電池である、請求項36に記載のデバイス。
- アノード、カソードおよびプロトン交換膜を備える燃料電池であって、該アノードおよび/またはカソードは、
a.粒子状の炭素性材料と、
b.ヘテロ原子を含む導電性ポリマー
とを含有する組成物を含み、該導電性ポリマーは、該炭素性材料にグラフトされている、燃料電池。 - 前記組成物が、金属をさらに含有する、請求項43に記載の燃料電池。
- 前記金属が、白金を含む、請求項44に記載の燃料電池。
