Claims (6)
- 固体高分子形燃料電池を構成するために固体高分子電解質上に気体を導き得る状態で設けられる多孔質の触媒層であって、
触媒粒子と、炭素繊維と、それら触媒粒子および炭素繊維を相互に接合する導電性ポリマーおよび熱硬化性樹脂とを含むことを特徴とする触媒層。 - 前記導電性ポリマーを前記触媒粒子100(重量部)に対して1〜6(重量部)の範囲内の割合で含むものである請求項1の触媒層。
- 前記炭素繊維を前記触媒粒子100(重量部)に対して20〜150(重量部)の範囲内の割合で含むものである請求項1の触媒層。
- プロトン伝導性高分子を含むものである請求項1の触媒層。
- 前記炭素繊維は50〜200(μm)の範囲内の繊維長と5〜20(μm)の範囲内の繊維径とを備えたものである請求項1の触媒層。
- 固体高分子電解質層が一対のガス拡散電極で挟まれた膜−電極接合体であって、
前記一対のガス拡散電極の少なくとも一方が前記請求項1乃至請求項5の何れか1項に記載の触媒層から成る触媒兼電極層で構成されたことを特徴とする膜−電極接合体。
