Claims (4)
- 厚み方向に貫通する多数の細孔を備えた多孔質基材と、それら多数の細孔に充填された電解質材料と、その多孔質基材を一対の触媒層を介して挟持する一対の電極とを備えた電極−電解質一体型膜電極接合体であって、
前記多孔質基材は、無機酸化物粒子が熱硬化性樹脂で結合させられた多孔性セラミック膜から成ることを特徴とする電極−電解質一体型膜電極接合体。 - 前記多孔性セラミック膜は0.03乃至2(μm)の平均細孔径を備えたものである請求項1の電極−電解質一体型膜電極接合体。
- 前記多孔性セラミック膜は20乃至70(%)の気孔率を備えたものである請求項1の電極−電解質一体型膜電極接合体。
- 厚み方向に貫通する多数の細孔を備えた多孔質基材と、それら多数の細孔に充填された電解質材料と、その多孔質基材を一対の触媒層を介して挟持する一対の電極とを備えた電極−電解質一体型膜電極接合体の製造方法であって、
前記一対の電極の一方を構成するための第1の導体層上に前記一対の触媒層の一方を形成する触媒層形成工程と、
前記一対の触媒層の一方上に無機酸化物粒子および熱硬化性樹脂を含む所定のセラミックスラリーを塗布することにより、その無機酸化物粒子がその熱硬化性樹脂で相互に結合させられた多孔性セラミック膜から成る多孔質基材を形成する多孔質基材形成工程と、
前記多孔性セラミック膜の細孔に電解質材料を充填する電解質充填工程と、
前記多孔性セラミック膜上に前記一対の電極の他方を構成するための第2の導体層を前記一対の触媒層の他方を介して積層し且つ各層を相互に密着させる工程と
を、含むことを特徴とする電極−電解質一体型膜電極接合体の製造方法。
