Abstract
Description
Claims (6)
- 液体を霧化及び噴霧するためのノズルであって、
液体の流れを予め決められた軸に沿って方向付けるための、液体オリフィスを終端とする長手方向の液体流通路と;
前記予め決められた軸に対して垂直に延在し、且つ前記軸と交差する複数の交差横断通路であり、当該横断通路の各々が、その両端にて出口を終端とし、当該交差横断通路が、液体オリフィスの下流に、液体の流れを衝突させて破断するための第1の衝突面を画成し、前記破断された液体流が、前記横断通路を通って分散する、横方向に拡散する分散物となる、前記交差横断通路と;
前記横断通路の出口を取り囲むように配置されたエアアニュラスであり、前記横断通路の出口を通って分散された流体に空気を衝突させるように空気を下流方向に放出するように向けられた前記エアアニュラスと;
前記横断通路及び前記エアアニュラスの下流に配置された、ノズル放出オリフィスと連通している膨張チャンバと
を備えるノズル。 - さらに前記膨張チャンバ内に配置された衝突要素を含み、前記衝突要素が、衝突面を前記横断通路及び前記エアアニュラスの下流に画成している請求項1に記載のノズル。
- 前記膨張チャンバが、前記衝突要素を中心として周方向に配置された複数の放出オリフィスと連通している請求項2に記載のノズル。
- 前記長手方向液体流路が、前記長手方向液体流路の残りの部分と比較して低減された断面積を有する部分を含み、前記低減された断面積を有する部分が前記長手方向液体流路の下流端に、前記部分を通って流れる液体の速度を高めるために配置されている請求項1に記載のノズル。
- 前記長手方向流体流路の前記低減された断面積を有する部分が、横断通路の各々の断面積よりも小さい断面積を有する請求項4に記載のノズル。
- 前記エアアニュラスが、流入する空気の速度を増大するように下流方向にて内部に拡げられた入口部分を含む請求項1に記載のノズル。
