Abstract
【解決手段】 少なくとも上死点近傍で1回行われる予備燃焼と、該予備燃焼が全て終了した後に開始され主トルクを発生させる主燃焼とからなる分割リタード燃焼により、排気空燃比及び排気温度を制御してDPF再生を行わせるときに、排気微粒子の量に応じて、前記DPF再生における目標フィルタ温度,目標排気空燃比,目標再生制御時間のうちの少なくとも1つを変化させる。

Claims (9)
- 排気系に排気微粒子を捕集する排気フィルタを備えた内燃機関において、
前記排気フィルタに捕集された排気微粒子を酸化処理する再生制御における目標フィルタ温度,目標排気空燃比,目標再生制御時間のうちの少なくとも1つを、前記排気フィルタに捕集されている排気微粒子の再生制御に伴う減少に応じて変化させることを特徴とする排気フィルタの再生制御装置。 - 前記排気フィルタに捕集されている排気微粒子が少なくなるほど、前記目標フィルタ温度を高く、前記目標排気空燃比をリーンに、前記目標再生制御時間を長くすることを特徴とする請求項1記載の排気フィルタの再生制御装置。
- 前記再生制御の経過時間に基づいて前記排気フィルタに捕集されている排気微粒子の減少を推定することを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の排気フィルタの再生制御装置。
- 前記排気フィルタと共に、リーン雰囲気で排気中のNOxをトラップするNOxトラップ触媒を排気系に備え、
前記排気フィルタに捕集された排気微粒子を酸化処理する再生制御と、前記NOxトラップ触媒の硫黄被毒を解除する再生制御とを交互に連続して実行する構成であって、
前記排気微粒子を酸化処理する再生制御毎に、目標フィルタ温度,目標排気空燃比,目標再生制御時間のうちの少なくとも1つを変化させることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の排気フィルタの再生制御装置。 - 前記再生制御を、少なくとも上死点近傍で1回行われる予備燃焼と、該予備燃焼が全て終了した後に開始され主トルクを発生させる主燃焼とからなる燃焼モードによって行うことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載の排気フィルタの再生制御装置。
- 前記主燃焼のための燃料噴射時における筒内温度が自己着火可能な温度を上回るように、前記予備燃焼のための燃料噴射量を制御することを特徴とする請求項5記載の排気フィルタの再生制御装置。
- 前記予備燃焼の燃焼開始時期と前記主燃焼の燃焼開始時期との間隔を、クランク角度で20°以上に制御することを特徴とする請求項5又は6記載の排気フィルタの再生制御装置。
- 前記主燃焼の終了時期を、圧縮上死点からクランク角度で50°以降に制御することを特徴とする請求項5〜7のいずれか1つに記載の排気フィルタの再生制御装置。
- 前記主燃焼のための燃料噴射時期を変えることで、前記排気フィルタの温度を制御することを特徴とする請求項5〜8のいずれか1つに記載の排気フィルタの再生制御装置。
