Claims (15)

  1. a)アノード;
    b)カソード;
    c)該アノードと該カソードとの間に配置された複数の有機電場発光ユニットであって、少なくとも正孔輸送層及び電子輸送層を含むもの;並びに
    d)各隣接有機電場発光ユニット間に配置された連結ユニットであって、順に、n型ドープト有機層、界面層及びp型ドープト有機層を含み、該界面層が該n型ドープト有機層と該p型ドープト有機層との間における拡散又は反応を防止するもの
    を含んで成るカスケード式有機電場発光デバイス。
  2. 該界面層がスペクトルの可視領域において90%以上の光透過率を有する、請求項1に記載のカスケード式有機電場発光デバイス
  3. 該界面層が、電子エネルギーバンドギャップが4.0eV未満である少なくとも1種の材料を含む、請求項1に記載のカスケード式有機電場発光デバイス
  4. 該界面層が、チタン、ジルコニウム、ハフニウム、バナジウム、ニオブ、タンタル、クロム、モリブデン、タングステン、マンガン、レニウム、鉄、ルテニウム、オスミウム、コバルト、ロジウム、イリジウム、ニッケル、パラジウム、白金、銅、亜鉛、カドミウム、ガリウム、タリウム、珪素、ゲルマニウム、鉛又はアンチモンの化学量論的酸化物又は非化学量論的酸化物、又はこれらの組合せ、を含む、請求項1に記載のカスケード式有機電場発光デバイス
  5. 該界面層が、チタン、ジルコニウム、ハフニウム、バナジウム、ニオブ、タンタル、クロム、モリブデン、タングステン、マンガン、レニウム、鉄、ルテニウム、オスミウム、コバルト、ロジウム、イリジウム、ニッケル、パラジウム、白金、銅、亜鉛、カドミウム、ガリウム、タリウム、珪素、ゲルマニウム、鉛又はアンチモンの化学量論的硫化物又は非化学量論的硫化物、又はこれらの組合せ、を含む、請求項1に記載のカスケード式有機電場発光デバイス
  6. 該界面層が、チタン、ジルコニウム、ハフニウム、バナジウム、ニオブ、タンタル、クロム、モリブデン、タングステン、マンガン、レニウム、鉄、ルテニウム、オスミウム、コバルト、ロジウム、イリジウム、ニッケル、パラジウム、白金、銅、亜鉛、カドミウム、ガリウム、タリウム、珪素、ゲルマニウム、鉛又はアンチモンの化学量論的セレン化物又は非化学量論的セレン化物、又はこれらの組合せ、を含む、請求項1に記載のカスケード式有機電場発光デバイス

  10. 該界面層が、仕事関数が4.0eVより高い少なくとも1種の金属材料を含む、請求項1に記載のカスケード式有機電場発光デバイス
  11. 該界面層の厚さが0.1nm〜10nmの範囲内にある、請求項1に記載のカスケード式有機電場発光デバイス
  12. 該界面層の厚さが0.1nm〜5nmの範囲内にある、請求項1に記載のカスケード式有機電場発光デバイス
  13. 該界面層が熱蒸発法で調製されたものである、請求項1に記載のカスケード式有機電場発光デバイス
  14. 該界面層が電子ビーム蒸発法で調製されたものである、請求項1に記載のカスケード式有機電場発光デバイス
  15. 該界面層がイオンスパッタ法で調製されたものである、請求項1に記載のカスケード式有機電場発光デバイス
