Abstract
851,582. Forced-flow steam boilers. SULZER FRERES S.A. March 3, 1959 [March 12, 1958], No. 7352/59. Addition to 754,302. Class 123(2) The forced-flow, once-through steam boiler described in the parent Specification is modified in that the pipe 9 through which water or a water-steam mixture returns to the hot well 1 during the warming-up period branches from the tube system at a point between a preliminary superheater section 61 and the main superheater 6. Thus the part of the tube system subjected to intensive heating, that is, the evaporator 31 and superheater section 61, is protected during the warming- up period by a throughflow of cooling fluid.
