[Class 123 (iii)] The 'temperature of the steam flowing from a superheated steam header 6 is controlled by a valve 8 determining the relative quantities of steam flowing through a direct path 5 onone side of a partition 3 and through a path 4 containing a desuperheater 7 on the other side of the partition. The desuperheater may consist of a pipe coil connected to the boiler water circulation.
