687,795. Steam superheaters reheaters. BABCOCK & WILCOX, Ltd.. Sept. 29, 1950 [Dec. 18, 1948], No. 23868/50. Drawings to Specification. Classes 123 (ii) and 123 (iii) In a steam, &c. boiler having a gas outlet pass locating a super-heater and a reheater, the latter are in three and two sections respectively, with the reheater sections alternating with the superheater sections, and means is provided for injecting condensate into the steam flowing to the inlet section of the reheater, or otherwise cooling this steam, at from about 80 per cent. to full boiler load, so as to increase the heat exchange between the reheater and the heating gases and thereby control the superheat temperature.
