Abstract

839,798. Ventilating. SVENSKA FLAKTFABRIKEN A. B. April 29, 1958 [April 30, 1957], No. 13572/58. Class 137 [Also in Group XXVIII] A ventilating plant comprises a duct 2, Fig. 2, supplied with primary air which is discharged through a nozzle 1 and induces secondary air from inlets 6, 7, the resultant mixed air passes through a heat exchanger 4 and is discharged through outlet 5. The nozzle 1, Fig. 3, comprises a plurality of passages 9 terminating in a plane surface, into a number of slots 8 of substantially the same cross-section as the passages 9. The dimensions of the passages are so chosen with respect to the medium velocity that the Reynold's number does not exceed 2000.
