Class 110(iii) [Also in Group XXVIII] In a power plant comprising a hot gas generator K to which high pressure air is supplied by a conventional pressure exchanger H delivering through a duct H<SP>4</SP> and is burnt with fuel supplied through a duct K<SP>2</SP>, and from which high pressure hot gases are delivered through a duct L to the pressure exchanger H, and through a duct M to a prime mover N, the duct M communicates with a storage container F (see Group XXIII) through a heat storage reservoir E located in an inlet and outlet duct O so that hot gases are cooled on entering the reservoir F and are reheated on leaving it.
