Abstract

640,070. Gas turbine plant. POWER JETS (RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT), Ltd. Jan. 26, 1948, No. 2353. [Class 110(iii)] [Also in Group II] A non-rotary separator for centrifugal separation of dust. ice-particles and the like from air entering a compressor may have heating fluid passed through the outer jacket 27, 28, core 2, and inlet and outlet hollow guide cams 13a, 23a. The heating fluid may be obtained from the gas turbine plant being supplied by the compressor. The dust-collecting chamber 20a has an outlet 26 which may be warmed to prevent icing up.
