835,377. Cartons. PUTNAM, H. W. P. June 6, 1958 [Jan. 15, 1958], No. 18073/58. Class 18. A carton having flaps 18 extending from the edges of the side walls 12 to form top and bottom walls is provided in one side wall 12s with a slot 20 through which a cardboard handle 38 normally housed in the box may be projected. In the gap between two sets of partitions 22 is located a piece of carboard 26 folded about a crease line 28, forming a central partition the folded portions 30 of which extend across to the opposite wall along it and along each adjacent wall. Between the portions 30 there is a further slidable piece 36 having the handle portion 38 projecting through a slot 34 along the crease line 28 and through the slot 20.
